i ran into a guy at BW's tonite that was there. he said he was the first person to come up on the guy that crashed. said he was an older dude, 60 something. just caught a bad updraft over the top of the dune and lost flight. he said he had bone sticking out of his leg.

to be more specific, hold the clutch lever on the trans toward the front of the motor and hold there. loosen the 12 mm nut on the clutch and turn the center adjuster whichever way to align the mark on the lever to the mark on the trans case. you really shouldnt have to mess with this if all your doing is replacing the clutch and someone hasnt jacked with it already. you should be able to adjust it at the cable adjuster at the handle bar lever. about a half inch of free play at the end of the lever. good luck.

yup. thats knight ranch road. alot of good riding out there. there are trails that the racers use to go over the mountains and back. alot of fun.

they confirmed it was lidles plane but not that he was the pilot yet. but it stands to reason that he was flying it. a witness said they saw smoke coming from the back of the plane.

ha ha. we know the mcflurries. we have strolled over there a few times after getting lit up. it is crazy. we used to camp close by because the big mcflurry is a good way to find camp when its dark.

a friend of mine is moving and needs to sell a sand rail. actually its never seen the sand, no paddles. 2 seater, all of it is basicly new. 1600 vw, dual port, no turn brake, drum brakes. just your basic 2 seat rail. he needs to move it and asked me what its worth. i told him about the website and maybe he will log on and put some pics up but in the meantime give me some ballpark idea of what you guys think out there.

a few pics from yesterdays primm 300. the herbst trophy truck rolled first lap at mile 30. alot of problems at that spot throughout the day. the corner we were at kept getting deeper and deeper as the day went on. the weather was awsome and the beer as always tasted great. stayed out friday and saturday night. it was perfect.

i have had a blast the few times i have been there simply because you can keep the desert tires on and ride trails and then hit the dunes and for the most part go anywhere without putting paddles on. it is nice to not have a bunch of people around sometimes. of course you can get that at dumont on any off weekend. just a good different place to visit.

man i tell you it was freezing for the busch race last year and windy. not much fun. sunday was pretty nice though.

ah man! you cant bail during a race! we have a party in the parking lot every year before the race and hang out afterwards for the crowd to thin. see ya there.

your gonna love it in the dunes. its cool when you have to lean forward to keep the front wheels on the sand climbing a dune.

racing is to damn expensive but like my beer i dont care what it cost i need it. i keep my 4 seats in the earnhardt terrace and my buddy in florida keeps our seats at homestead. its extra special because we get to see each other twice a year this way. if anyone wants cheap racing experiance SNORE is always looking for volunteers to work the races. right there close to the action.

i always go through tecopa. i went through pahrump on the way back one time because someone said it about the same or quicker. bullshit! tecopa is the way to go.

get online and check out the classifides in the las vegas review journal under recreational vehicles. there are always banshees in there. of course you would have to come to vegas but that is a good thing.
