well said. my kids are 21 and 16 now but they were little once and i know they need to enjoy the weekends as much as the parents but out of harms way. im done now.

we were planning to go but the weather was to sh*tty.

what kind of wheel you looking for. i have a couple of old yamaha 250's, an 82 honda 200 and a 87 enduro with a brand new nobby on it. also have an almost brand new gold chain.

yup. the kids have no buisness on the fingers. anyone who lets them play there taped off or not is just asking for trouble. they can wait till they grow up and ride them like everyone else. my big beef is having all that crap to worry about running into or over kids and stuff. its not a sand box.

thats the way to go for nhra. dune freak did that last year and that was cool.

its a few grand for nascar weekend. and there is a waiting list. we snuck up there a few years ago and it was pretty cool to watch. i dont know about toy haulers. i dont think i have ever seen any up there.

anybody getting annoyed at all the people that run caution tape up on the finger dunes claiming that as part of thier camp? thats getting dangerous letting kids play there. i know all of us like blasting down the fingers and dont want to hit anyone. last year i took my truck over the finger dune to go to comp and some lady jumped out in front and said i had to go back. actually my wife was driving i told her to tell the b*tch to screw off and we went on.

thats why you keep beer in the truck. just hang out afterwards till the traffic thins

i would go with the incentive to get out of debt and return with a new attitude. i wouldnt live anywhere else but here but i could go temporarily if i had to knowing i would be back.

i got a magazine last month that had a dune trip special in it and they spelled it wrong in there too.

they ran the rhinos between races at primm for intermission entertainment. just roundy roud for 10 minutes a race. it was fun to watch but i dont see it being a serious class either, at least not for long. snore started a champ car class last year and thats what im building. a good entry level easy on the budget class. i just want to race and have fun. maybe move up in class later. i co rode in a 5/1600 car last race and that was fun.

i was paying 57 a month at the boat barn at sunset and boulder hwy. but that was over a year ago and not covered.

ebay is the best bet, aside from rocky mountain. price new stuff and bid accordingly. i got a brand new gytr full skid plate for my warrior on there. saved about 100 bucks.have bought alot of other stuff and saved money. if you dont desert ride dont bother with skid plates. a slip on, air filter and jet kit should be all you need. start surfing the web for sites that can help you understand all this. just surfing ebay can help alot. most people explain how thier part can help a quad. of course some sugar coat it a bit. just keep posting questions and you will get answers

we all need to hook up for the race in march. if your goin lets get together and do some tailgating. i'll be there with a a few buddies all weekend. im not camping at the track, staying downtown at the plaza but will be there to party saturday and sunday.

im so glad i didn't have to deal with that silly sh*t. i had a 69 440 powered cuda and my buddies had chevelle's, chargers, roadrunners, mustangs,etc, you get the picture. it was all good.
