Over the Vet's weekend at Amargosa I had a little mishap with a very hot fire. I tripped....lost my balance....and actually FELL in the fire. Luckily I only sustained minor injuries.....a really nicely burnt leg.... I have a better pic I'll post when I get home ...a bruised ribcage (from the rocks that made the fire pit) and a jammed shoulder. I was actually considering changing my screen name until this happened. The ironic part was that I burned my leg on a pole that was well on it's way burning in the fire. You can see the squares from the alligator skin the wood gets when it's been burning for a while. The doc said I did a good job cleaning it up and thank God all my friends had plenty of burn gel! This happened Sat night and I managed to stay at the dunes until my trip ended on Monday. I thought I would post it to add some comedy and relieve some of the other things folks are posting about ....well you'd know if you have been around for a while. I'm healthy and have a good sense of humor, so let the fun begin....the best ones I have heard so far are: 1. I fought the log and the log won! :beer_bang: (Bobby Fuller) 2. I have no idea what happened and will have to wait like everyone else for the results of MythBusters in Dec, which is where the quote came from. I read an article a while back that discussed the warming and cooling trends over our recorded history that we have had over a long period of time in our history. This isn't the first warming or cooling "scare" that the media has hyped up. It's actually more like the 7th time or so. What we are experiencing is nothing more than the standard shifting of our planets climate.

Therein lies the problem. The lack of respect for the other riders in the open area. There are too many times that I can count where I couldn't "cruise" the top of the finger back to my camp because camps on both sides completely coned it off to the top. At that point I'm left with having to abort and drive down one side or the other......and unfortunately end up in someone's camp looking like this --->

I can't believe they treated folks like that. It's one thing to charge too much, but to have that attitude. I recall telling someone else that I go to Butch's first because of the cavalier attitude I got from NV Off Road, and they didn't agree. This confirms it for me now.....I'll only go their to save my trip.

Ceasar's is not within the City of Las Vegas.....it is in Clark County. ....and like the others said, you need to get past this. Take up a hobby or something to pass the time. :no_no:
