I'm not sure, but the start finish line will have a jump!!!...that's off of the 95 ( or... 93 I forget which) towards Searchlight.
That is unexcusable. I understand that not everyone wants to do their job to 100% like some of us...but if you choose a profession that invovles saving lives.....you shouldn't have any other choice but to be 100% on the job.
In the Air Force there was a guy with the last name Dickensheets........it was hilarious when they sent him to do laundry duty!!
He explained that it was a family name from way back....they coulda changed it to Dickens or Sheets...but decided to stick with heritage.
At the last BITD race, rangers were everywhere the race pits were. BITD warns us everytime to keep it under the limit and stay on the marked roads....but then again we have the race numbers on our pit vehicles and they threaten to penalize the teams if anyone of us is pulled over or violates any of the rules.
Yep....t-day weekend in Cali....13 yr old turned too sharp, tipped it over and the cage landed on her head and neck. I think they could be safe with the proper safety equipment and not driving over it's capability. I'd like to have one someday.
Why does it have to be that way? "Here we go again?"
I for one am very happy to see that they walked away...the frame did what it was intended to do.....save lives.
