Guess what? I sat maybe 10-15' away from your truck the WHOLE friggin time. Maybe YOU should be aware of what else is going on around you. I also have 2 other witness' that saw and HEARD everything. I am neither a ranger or part of the BLM. Just a witness to what I saw. Tomorrow I am sure someone else on this board will post what THEY saw. Bet its pretty close to what I saw too

Funny.............. 3 of us heard and SAW the whole thing go down. Yes the rangers were NOT there first thing in the morning. Last I knew it was not surprise that YOU NEED A PASS? Did you think you they would let you leave w/o having a pass? Is that so hard to understand? We saw roughly 10 vehicles come & go while we were there and YOUR group is THE ONLY ones with attitude?

Let me just say that I sat maybe 10' away from this whole thing and saw everything that happened. That is NOT how I saw things. You rolled up and w/o a pass the ranger stated that you needed a pass and would have to go around the corner of the trailer to get one. When your friend went to get a pass the ranger notice that one of your bikes was about to come off the trailer. The ranger was cordial the whole time. How would you feel if while driving home your quad came off the back of the trailer while driving 75mph down the highway? I have seen it happen and you wouldnt have much if anything salvagable left if it fell off. Maybe he should have kept quiet and let you lose your quad?

Driving down the road talking to ynot on the phone and not really paying attention (wife and kids in the car) I said "A bad day at the dunes is better than a good day at home" Needless to say that went over like a fart in church. Some people just dont understand

Jesus H Christmas! 2 DAYS! Ok as for long trips which dont seem all that bad after reading some others..... I used to drive 900 miles from Ct to western Michigan to go to Silverlake dunes for the weekend (yes weekend) did that 3 times On 9/11 I left for Little Sahara Oklahoma. I was picking up a friend in Philly on the way to Oklahoma, but since ALL of NY and the major highways in and out of NY were closed I had to go around the city. I spent the night in Philly and left the next morning for Oklahoma. My friend I drove with "said" he was more than capable of towing a trailer and "has done it many times"...... well after driving 10hrs I asked him to drive so I could sleep. We didnt get 3 miles up the highway before he almost killed the two of us. Needless to say I was wide awake and drove the rest of the way. We stayed the night in a hotel and finished up another 13 hrs of driving the next day. (29hrs total) No sooner did we get to the park we were harrassed until we unloaded and went for a bitchen ride. Last year I drove from Ct to Vegas alone in 3 days. I would average around 14hrs a day. 2798 miles in 3 days. Got out of the truck and started helping ynot polish the wheels on his car Then dont forget the loonnnng trips from the northwest part of town to henderson Its like driving to the other side of the planet! Sheesh~

Tell me what you have now and what programs you use/need and I will get it tossed back together. The monitor I have is not one of the slim LCD's but its a good 19"CRT. Need that to? You would be surprised at the stuff I have thrown away in the last year! I'd rather give it to someone that needs one then toss it.

What a great weekend! Sure it was a lil warm but wtf did ya expect? 3 great quotes from this weekend....... "...........just when its getting good....... The dam toilet seat moves! I did not once the whole weekend! :hug: And I'll be damned if I dont take my camera out on a ride next time. I brought it with me and never took it out of the motorhome!

Nick: Try system commander..... loads from a floppy (or a cd if you want) and loads into memory. You can do what ever you want to the drive from there no matter how its formatted or what OS is on it. Easy fix for those pita drives. Danielle: Your quite welcome and I will see you on friday

cmyfirepole: There is a way around everything! If I need a drive "that" clean, I will just remove it from the machine and load it onto my pc (pc or laptop drive) and wipe it clean. Normally what they do is load the OS files onto a seperate hidden partition. Delete that and your golden. Just another way of MS to force vista down the publics throat.

Ash: Any computer can be formatted and another OS installed. I cant see legally how someone can purchase a computer/laptop and not be able to change what OS is on it. I have messed w/ Vista for over a year now on a spare drive on a brand new laptop. I plan to stay on XP for as long as I can. Mickeysoft is just bending everyone over with Vista
