I'm a little late on this, but then again its been a busy weekend. Friday night wasnt much excitement since we spent the day driving around town lookin at houses (to buy) Saturday morning took off to a slow start. Helped the wife clean the house a lil, then off to a friends house to work on Terry's rail.(Your very welcome Terry......) Not sure why but I think I was just as relieved and happy as you when we found the timing was correct. Then the cables were icing on the cake Sat night was pretty quiet... took the family to dinner and crashed early. Sunday morning has been comical to say the least.... We asked our oldest boy to take our new puppy outside and he didnt give him enough time to finish business... So the puppy drops a steamy loaf on the kitchen floor and since the kids arent paying attention.... The oldest steps in it. hehe The rest of the day will be spent food shopping and a trip to costco... Yippie~

Ed; I got muhself one of those wagner power sprayers.......... started with some water colors.... I never really liked spray cans since they like to package runs and dirt in the cans. They dont tell ya that though when ya buy it either! ugh!

I will have to say that atv plastic CAN be painted and hold up well......... WHEN DONE RIGHT! A few years ago I painted the plastic on my shee.... I rolled the bike down a hill and landed on some hard pack dirt/gravel. It hit so hard that it actually tore the plastic and the paint did NOT peal off. I decided to do a face lift on my shee a few years later and this time painted a set of full bore. That was done in late 2003 and is NOT a trailer queen. second paint scheme back in 1999 Back from a ride in Pa in coal country Link to just after it was finished this last time (sorry to those on 56k) http://www.roostfest.net/old/images/mybans...shed1%20013.jpg

Pete: I have 4 camp chairs I will be bringing to Terry next week. If you would like they can be donated under the DDR name. (as long as you dont mind the PPG logo on them)

HarleyR: My motor builder highly recommended it, and I have run MANY gallons of it. I find my motor runs MUCH better on 100LL than it does on VP, Torco, F&L, and Sunoco. If I cant get my hands on 100LL then VP is my first choice.

What a great weekend! Great weather, awesome dunes and even better peeps to be there with! My observations for the weekend.... Shelly (ynot's wife) makes bitchen sammiches When following a pnaris w/ a flat.... never leave the group no matter how much Duniemonkey says "go that way!" Old people rock! Rhino's (or farm equip) kick a$$. Strawberry cheesecake and Cannoli's make a great dinner! Never steal a mans truck, even when its to wash his rhino :mc_smiley: ps; skinny guys like good desserts too! Just cause were skinny does not mean we dont eat too!

Just my 2cents here..... but asking what everyone else runs is pointless. "everyone" else does not have the same motor as you. Your UCCR will determine what octane your motor will require to run at optimum. As with how much timing advance you run. But to get into specifics I would contact "your" motor builder and see what he recommends But to play along with this.... "my" motor w/ +4 to +6 degree timing needs at least 112 octane or 100LL avgas. If I advance my timing to +10, then I run methanol

Ash: I feel your pain! Right now according to the weather channel its a balmy 8 deg outside. Windchills are in the negative digits. Our low tonight is supposed to be between -5 and 2 deg! Tomorrow should be in the mid 20's and snow! Lucky enough for me I'm here until wed of next week..... it sure as hell doesnt help when you have a friend like Terry telling ya on the phone how it was almost 70 and beautiful all day... Any news from your dad on your wifes burban? I saw it the other day and it was ready for paint. Let me know how things work out.

I stopped by to see him tonight and drop off a small container of St'Anthony's sand Something for him to look forward too! He wasnt coming home tonight, but thought he would be released tomorrow. If I hear anything I will let everyone know. I do have to say it was very nice to see him and in good spirits today! Get well soon!!

ISBB: the problem with that is as time goes by the value of the bike drops. And if there is a claim... they will only pay you what book value is at the time of loss. With a rider on the policy you can keep a stated value or more for additional items added to the bike. The difference in cost is minimal too...

Quick update on Terry...... He is doing well but in pain. (as to be expected) Its possible he will be coming home tomorrow night but he wont know until later tomorrow afternoon. dreamrr; Terry had back surgery on monday morning. They fused his L4 and L5 vertebrae. He was racing in Lake Elsinore (I think) and an LT500 landed on his back. Since then he has had a lot of back pain and several surgerys. Hopefully this will correct the pains hes been having over the last year or so.

I use Progressive on my banshee, and I pay 28.00 a month. For that I have additional coverage on aftermarket items up to $10,000.00. If I crash or it gets stolen, they will hand me a check for 10k. Well worth the 28.00 a month if you ask me.
