A couple of us from work are trying to make it out there but I might be the only one that can go. The guys from work are proof that marriage can wait a long time. They want to make plans to do fun things but their wives won't let them.

It was a lot of fun watching! Glad I went but now I'm gonna have to buy one of my own for next year. Food was excellent and got to meet some new people which was pretty cool too. Wish I could have stayed a little longer but had to get up real early Sunday morning!

Alright, I know it's so close after the 70 regatta but I'm looking to go to Dumont again next weekend. I had so much fun watching everybody else at the regatta and only got to ride for just a little bit. Anyone else want to join me this weekend?? Steve if you come I promise not to get stuck in the super bowl again LOL. Let me know if anyone else wants to go.

Pete, how close were you? That looks like some pretty close shots or you have a really good lens!

So this morning I woke up at 5 a.m. because some friends at work called me and wanted to go riding at Amargossa dunes today. I was declining at first until they wouldn't stop calling! So I climbed my a** out of bed and went with them. I'm glad I did because all day long I practiced transitions on the razors. The Amargossa razors are nothing like Dumont's but it's a good start. Over and over and over again I kept going until I started to feel comfortable doing so. It was a fun day and I feel a little more confident about riding with some of the more seasoned riders I rode with on Super bowl weekend. I'm really excited to go back to Dumont for the second time this weekend and give it another shot!

I'm probably not going to do anything more until I get some more experience on the bike first. I'm looking forward for the next trip to Dumont so I can get the experience I'm looking for.

Looked fun! Wish I was there to see it. I didn't want to chance it on Saturday with the bad weather and all. There is always another week.

Chris, Where could I tune up my current suspension now? Or do you think I would be just pissing my money away trying?

Good point! I think I could use some more time learning my own capabilities before I go out and spend thousands :?: on a suspension system that I don't know anything about.

I have heard that Elka makes some sweet suspension systems. I have been told that a good suspension system will drastically increase my riding comfort and capability.

Looking to upgrade my suspension on my Raptor 700. Looking for something that is good both on the trails and on the dunes. Any recommendations?

Want so badly to make it out this weekend. Because I will be sleeping in the back of the truck the weather needs to hold up or I probably will have to just come out for Saturday.
