Thanks Paul. We'll be shreadin' the camps soon here brotha. Hey Kristin, The tank is plastic, not original. It's not painted. For the forks, I used some rattle can enamel paint that I had matched for my buggy. It was fun to tear it down and redo the whole thing. I'm totally stoked it's together, but kinda sad cuz I looked forward to wrenchin' on it : once in a while every day on the hour between beers instead of sleeping! Do you think I need another one? R-

Great post, Great point. I check over my car between trips pretty through. Not always jacking it up though. Last time I did that, I found some heims that I decided needed to be replaced as well. I also check things as we're out in the sand as well. Shaking the car and looking for slop is a great way to quickly see if something is loose. I often look over other peeps cars for loose stuff, Hopin' they don't get offended if I mention there is something that needs attention. I greatly appreciate it when peeps point things out to me. I think the most popular thing I see on LT cars is the jam nuts on front Heims are loose. Also, accelerator pumps stuck-in from sand on carbureted VW cars. The list goes on.......Keep a close eye on your toys peeps. R-

What an awesome weekend. We had a killer camp, 11 cars. and some change. We had some EPIC rides foe schizzz. Get the point? It was Awesome. The dunes on Friday were some of the best ever. Great all weekend though. Ohh! Speaking of take full advantage...... Pete and Anna ...... :black: :B You guys get the most out of MLK. We our arses off all day, and ALL night. I feel like a Zombie today . Can't quit thinkin' bout' our trip. Thanks to everyone who made it all happen. R-
