Just a shot in the dark, but have you checked for a strong consistent spark? Your latter symptoms( i can keep it running by feathering the throttle. and it will go. and from time to time it startes to go like nothing is wrong ) kinda sound like my 3 wheelie and the ground issue I struggled with. The smoke however, sounds a little more like bad rings. Have you tested the compression? No expert here, but tryin to help

I only have 3 or 4 cones. I'm not planning on leaving until friday after work, but I can grab them if you need them. Hoping to get there just before dark...if work cooperates

Small world! I hit LBC every morning.... Right off Anaheim blvd. yup, should be able to find something around there; nothin but trucks down there
-
I know you say LA, but I find them all day long at a truck parts place in Mira Loma( 15 & 60 fwys). West Pac off of Etiwanda just south of the 60 to be specific. I believe they are about $70-75. Don't know if that's too far outta the way, but thought I'd chime in for ya . Any truck place in fontana should stock them, too. Napa maybe?

No joke. I've been shaking mine down as well. Found a loose ground connector causing all kinds of headaches. So much fun though! I was attempting a donut in some gravel and about 180* into it, the tires caught some traction, and I wheelied it nearly into my fence . Definetly has more power...maybe too much for me apparently

Holy cow, that is scary. Those wrist protectors are a great idea. OGP reccomended I use them when I bought his car, and I ordered two for the back seats as well. A lot of people are funny about putting them on in my car, but now more than ever, I'm glad I have them. This goes to show you, anything can happen anytime; Again, glad everyone is ok.

Sounds like a good, memorable time; Glad you guys are ok from your rollover. Next weekend should be a good DDR meet and greet; are you gonna make it out there?

OK, so I have her basically finished: Frame straightened, exhaust fabbed, "kick" starter fabbed, disc brakes fabbed, disassembled, sanded, primed, painted, re-assmebled, brakes bled and working, Front neck ball bearing all over the floor, found, cleaned, and regreased...those are a pain in the butt by the way...couldn't they have designed those with a cage . I had a few short days at work this week, and a whole saturday of tinkering, and except for the new lack of spark, I think I'm done. Probably just a ground issue, I'm gonna look at that tomorrow, and hopefully get the lifan broke in this next week in time for the fun! I'm thinkin after the festivities, I'll order a new seat cover, some new bars and risers, and any other cosmetic stuff I'm lackin. I am SOOOOO excited to fire this beast up and completely finish destroying all remnants of my back yard grass here are a few pics off my phone Had some "Shaw blue" imron sitting around from a few rigs I painted...I figured my trike could be black and blue...like my life right now I had so much fun building this, I can't wait to get two more: pink fenders, pink paint, here I come :dumbass:

^^^wise words there! I'm a single income family of 5, and my income is quite a bit below what you stated. I have a lot of toys, and it perplexes a lot of people. I had a neighbor ask if I hit the lottery once; but no. I try to live below my means. I don't live in a half million dollar home. I don't pay interest on anything...if I can help it. We don't go out to eat but a couple times a week; pack my lunch for work, don't buy $5 coffee everyday, etc.etc.etc. Basically, I keep a tight grip on my finances, so I can save it up and blow it on toys for my family and I; and although this isn't really the forum for it, I tithe regularly, and proportionally, and I believe God has taken care of all my needs and then some, because of it. There is a lot of financial advise out there; but I went with a program called crown financial ministries. Basic stuff, like pay down debt, save for a rainy day, etc. I've been duning for 16 years now. Used to be me, my cr250, and a pickup bed with a sleeping bag. A whole lot cheaper then , but life throws surprises, doesn't it? It's all about how you prioritze. You'd be surprised what you can accopmlish with just a little determination.

Schweet! My boy call these three wheelies. He'll get a kick outta your lift -
Yah, just a squirt, no fuel hooked up yet. I couldn't resist, or wait any longer 5/8" round stock, a welder, a torch, to shape it, and a chrome shift knob from my local vato zone my only mistake there was some spilled on my wood work bench, and when I left my tools on my bench in the days following, it apparently had soaked into the wood, and they got destroyed. The chrome is ruined; looks like I found them at the bottom of the ocean

It's alive! With a squirt of go juice, she took her first breath today. Just about ripped my hand off that jockey knob. She sounds just awesome resonating in the shop. I haven't been this excited for awhile. Might need some help tuning the carb, but she should be ready for the regatta!

once again, sorry for thew thumbnail pics New phone uploading to a new pc, and I haven't figured out why its setting them so small

OK, so I've been trying to get this thing going, and here is some of my progress on my 125 lifan: I wired it up and checked for spark tonight, and I'm getting really stoked quite a bit a manipulating, and the exhaust fits even more confusion, and the hyd. disc brakes are functioning I set the tank and fenders on her, for a self motivational moment And lastly, my "kick" starter jockey knob I SOOO want to get it powder coated and re-upholster the seat in time, but not realistic with work right now

Frickin awesome! Can't wait to get mine

We are seeing that federal money on roadside projects as well, here in SoCal. Mostly noticing a lot of hard scape and palm trees along the freeway interchanges and off ramps. In the dairy lands of Chino, we have seen community parks with soccer fields and playland/swingsets( which are expensive, like 200k alone) going up less than a mile apart, scattered throughout the developments. To me, that just seems like a land grab, but what do I know. My beef is the money! Land here is going for 300-400k an acre. Not just that, but then you have development costs, then you have to pay a team of.....americans...to maintain those grounds for the rest of our, and our kid's lives. The scope of the financial implications is HUGE! Millions and millions. All of this though, when american families are struggling to feed their kids. Our government has lost touch with reality! Unfortunetly, "we" vote these morons in, because we don't pay attention to the details, or politics for that matter. Everybody can see the benefits from these projects, but when do we consider the cost? What a slap in the face to the hard working, tax paying, american people Sorry to hear Pete. Maybe get one of those electric KTMs and "double ninja" it up

Holy cow, no kidding...That's awesome! I have a stocker and a 125 that's still on the bench. I'm hoping they start bumping uglies in the garage, and hatch out a couple of pink 70's for my girls here is some of my "progress" on my 125: Hoping to get it wired today, andfired up soon. No time for paint or powder before the regatta If all else fails, I can run my stocker -
Yeah, My vids are stuttering too. I think it might've been my old pc not performing to well during the edit process. My wife just bought me a new dell. My videos still stutter watching them, so I plan on editing some vids on the new pc and see what I get. Planning on recording the regatta, and seeing if the new pc makes a difference.

Guess I'm running up front, huh?

Got my stocker outta the trailer after 10 months Got it running after a gummed up carb issue...Jake was stoked. Spent most of the day tearing up the back yard instead of getting my stuff done We are gonna try and make it, pending no work or hospital limitations. Trying like mad to get my 125 all fabbed up in time. I certainly won't have it powder coated and done, but hopefully running in time

Lookin good Just when you think you're close to finishing, you think of 10 more things...I know, but it's coming along nicely. The welds look great. You'll be glad you went with the 3 person seat, believe me... I ended up buying my 5 seater and we only had 1 kid, thinking we could take friends out with us; but life threw us a curve ball, and we filled up those two extra seats within a year or so . thanks for the update, now get back to work , dune season is half over
