  1. very, very nice so did you pull the trigger already, or still thinkin about it?
  2. I can tell ya what not to get... I picked one up for my 35 footer. A wireless one from pep boys. Camera mounts to the license plate frame. It was under a hundred bucks, but it is CRAP! Not very clear/a lot of static. It is rated "up to" 40', but no bueno
  3. Yah, those pics are awesome...guess I won't bother submitting any for "dune pic of the month" for quite a while
  4. oh man; that sucks. I was hit by an asian driver on my last trip to glamis :freakin_nuts: Rich kid...bmw... Nothing compared to yours...sorry to hear
  5. nice and close I'll check the shop tomorrow, and text you one way or the other
  6. Nice video. Now I have got to get my 70 finished up...
  7. Unfortunetly, the 70 I picked up didn't have one; it was missing, or else heck ya, I would mount that up. That's kinda the whole reason I did the swap. It was 75 bucks to get a used one, or 275 for a whole new, much larger, motor In fact, I ended up selling my old motor for $100, so 275-100 = 175 vs. 75... no brainer, for a c- note, I got a lifan
  8. Where are you located? I might have something in the shop.
  9. How did I forget that on my parts list
  10. Can't wait to see it after powder
  11. That would be great! I did find out they were out of the system , but I have yet to get them in. With this news, I might just wait a little while longer
  12. The 125 bolts right in, as Pete said. I bought a "pit bike" exhaust, so I have a little fab to do on that front. Also, there's no way I'm cutting my brand new fenders, so I'm gonna fab up a "jockey stick" kickstarter. That's going to be about it, as far as the swap goes I believe.
  13. That's a great idea Pat The last thing I'd want to see is my tailgate all jacked up over trying to save a few bucks
  14. Awesome. Thanks fellas. I'm looking at a smokin deal on one, but it's in texas; so I wanted to check if it'd fit, and make sure I wouldn't need to tug a trailer if I win it.
  15. Can anyone in the razor family do me a huge favor? I need to get stock dimensions: width @ the tires( or widest point, the length from the front leading edge to the center of the rear tires, and the overall length. I'm looking at one, but I'd have to travel for it quite a distance. I'm trying to calculate what size of vehicle I need to get it home. Any chance it would fit in a dually long bed pickup?
  16. I've heard of that, but I have yet to try it.... So if the plastic starts drippin, I didn't love it carefully enought? :clown: I still have to decide which route to go on the missing light, too. Stock, HID, LED, etc... Thanks however, I'll have to give it a try I was thinking about fabbing up a pair of arms myself, but for the price, I couldn't hardly beat it, and save myslf all that time to use riding instead Eyeball definetly puts out a great product
  17. I believe a 930 is good for 30 degrees. I'm thinkin they bind @ 33. 2" may or may not be enough , but it's definetly going to help
  18. Aahh, I misread. You're lengthening the wheel base. Again though, the bind angle in the cv is your only mechanical limitation. I've heard a couple of inches makes a big difference in the car's characteristics, such as wheelie-ing.
  19. It all depends on which CVs you have: 930s, 934s, or extreme style drive axles?
  20. Right on! Sounds like a good idea right there When we were shopping for my wifes quad, I wanted the 450 for her; lighter, more hp, faster, etc; but she wanted the 660...because it had reverse I hear ya on the underdog thing. A pipe and a k&n came right away; christmas presents if I recall I only got to ride it for about 10 minutes on our season closer. It is a completely different animal.
  21. 5 to 1...good ratio It looks like you gotta update your signature
  22. Thanks again for the rusty tank link! I filled my tank with 5 or 6 dollars worth of murriatic acid. A few days later, I went out to check it, and...whalllaaa. It looks like brand new. I can not believe that as bad as my tank was, it turned out so good. Another 5 or 6 dollars worth of gas to rinse it out, and I was done. Thanks again fellas
  23. Good find Just tell the wifey it's for the..... kids
