  1. haha I got a missing pull starter on one: it was either $80 bucks on ebay for another pull starter, or a new lifan. EASY CHOICE! My 125 is on the way

    GO PRO

Thanks for the info! I got 2 16 gig cards. I used it this weekend at Glamis; filled up one card...SO AWESOME! Plugged it into the big screen when we got home to see what I got. SO COOL! I found myself leaning in front of the tv I mounted it in 6 different positions, for some interesting vids. I did use the suction cup, but upon your advise, I zip tied the whole assembly to the car just in case. I had so much fun with the go pro, I forgot to get out the still camera That was my season closer, so I have the summer to figure out the editing. I ordered up the sony software tonight. I'll share what I get when I get it all dialed in.
  3. Me and the Highway; a shot I got a few years ago, driving down the 91, during a week of KILLER sunrises.
  4. Looks like a great time. My dad raced in his day. I have had a few trips down the track as well. Takes me right back to those memories Thanks for sharing
  5. truly amazing. Seems like I don't have anything to complain about, in perspective It says sometning about that country, and the character of the people, how in the midst of this, you don't have any stories about looting, and rioting, and the undeserving hand-out-ism found here
  6. very nice lookin bike! let us know how she does with your setup
  7. Awesome shots, as usual If you don't mind, what was your shutter speed. I'm digging those speed shots where everything in the background is just a blur, like the 2nd and 3rd from the top. I haven't been practicing with my camera like I'd planned, but still eager to learn. Looks like you found some killer seats, or at least got down close to the track to shoot It's cool too, to see the tires all out of shape on the dragsters :nana:

    GO PRO

Happy birthday to me My wifey got me a go pro hero It just got delivered today. I still have to pick up a memory card for it, but I got to thinkin; how do I upload and edit some killer lil' movies? Never done this before; my last video camera was a high 8mm . What programs/ editing software are available? What works, what don't/ what do you like? I'm so excited. I gotta get one more dune trip in , NOW!!! but then...wakeboard mounts, and tube run mounts, and r/c plane mounts
  9. Probably next to the muffler fluid... Oh Wait, cars have that now diesels anyhow
  10. No joke; I'm hoping to get in one more trip this season. We are waiting for our group to coordinate something soon I hope. Even with the new spacers on the rear, it is unproportionately wider up front; but as long as it performs, it's all good. The 3+1 kit came with a notice that it makes the bike too wide for some racing specs, in case you were considering, the 2" kit would be better if you had racing plans. We just hit the sand however, so as the old pontiac commercial goes, ee ahu a oola: wider is better. This kit came with the 3" wider, 1" forward arms, new tie rods, elka shocks, and longer brake lines for $1625. You can upgrade the shocks to get more adjustability, and the price gets adjusted as well I opted for no adjustments on the shocks to save a several hundred bones. Can't wait to try it out
  11. So my wife rolled her quad a while ago, and she had bent her handle bars. So I ordered up a new pair...along with a long travel kit I got this kit off of ebay. It came with eyeball engineering A-arms, and elka shocks. Not the most expensive on the market, but she's a fairly mild rider, and it only gets ridden a couple of weekends a year, so I wasn't gonna drop tooo much coin into this. So far, I like the quality I've seen, but I haven't ridden it yet, either It took me about 3 hrs., and the fitment seems like they new what they are doing. The kit is a 3+1, so the bike is ALOT wider now. I had the shocks set up for 175 lb. rider; she's only about 130, but I'm gonna get on thing thing eventually, so I aimed somewhere near the middle Watcha think?
  12. I bet somebody's excited I'm Lookin forward to some pictures
  13. I was in glamis during that earthquake We were standing in camp while it shook. You could look out and see ripples of sand coming towards you; it was freakin BAD It looked like little ankle biter waves, or ripples in the ocean. Well today's the big day for cali to become her own island, right? Maybe dumont will be the new pismo Gonna start prepping the jet skis this mornin
  14. I remember the days when traffic school was an option I enjoyed traffic school, however; mostly because of a girl I met that kept sitting next to me
  15. We'll see what happens , if she does go under, boating season will just get an early start is all :boat:
  16. We'll just have to wait and see if he's right.. We haven't had any decent ones in a while. Historically however, the big ones do bring a lot of work to the demolition and construction industries I know that's terrible to say, but we could certainly use the work

  18. Kids say the darndest things... My sister showed us a Trace atkins video online, and now my 3 year is repeating all the time "brown chicken brown cow"...I'm near certain he's gonna say it in sunday school What are his teachers gonna think we've been watching/ showing him... The thing to remember if they're are heard saying stuff like yours or mine has, is to LIE and say they must have picked it up at grandma and grandpas house Stay safe and good luck!
  19. yup, I'm wit you; my side by side is still faster good, however, to see some competition for the razor. Sounds like it ought to scoot
