How many years do you suppose it'll be before we see these drive systems/wheels/ under new cars... parallel parking would be a breeze.

I got into my first 8 yrs. ago, and I'm still enjoying it. It can be a lot of work, but it's very rewarding. I still haven't completed all of my projects on the list I made the day we moved in, but I'm still working on it. I set the ceiling joists yesterday, on the new addition. I try to do just about everything myself, and save the difference; framing, drywall, tile, stucco, windows, yard work, etc. Basically, I'm a honkey with a big hat Congrats on your first home.

I was able to replace my blower motor out of a GRAINGER catalog. My issue ended up being a bad relay, only after I replaced the motor. I guess I should've explored a little with the tester before dropping the cash. Either way, I got a modern updated power friendly unit now, and it's quieter, too..

Just another couple of days to catch up on the honey do list, right? :ahhhhh: Actually, I'm setting concrete forms today. We're adding on to the house to make room for our future DDR members Making another bedroom, and a big room for, hopefully, a pool table someday. We found out we're expecting 2 girls It's gonna be an expensive 25 years or so

right on, Other than my voice shaking on the phone, the issue ain't too big of a deal for me, a minor compromise, for the ability to tow a freakin house! I'll check out the mods online. I was hoping to bag the whole truck when I lift it; we'll see if the funds will allow that anytime soon Thanks for the input :freakin_nuts: -

I helped my wife's kid sister put the blue and yellow ones on her Z71, about 2 months before she totalled it. Oh well. Do you think the front or the rear makes the most improvement? On my new dually, the front end rides pretty nice; while it seems the back end just chatters down the freeway(as most 1 tons do). Now I am running semi tires, but they're aired WAY DOWN, like 25 when I'm not towing;but still chatters. Would these shocks help out my issue, or is my issue just due to the 1 ton leafs? :freakin_nuts: -
Local talk jocks, Jon and Ken, are planning on giving that guy crap until he gets fired :freakin_nuts: I believe I heard it was the vice principal; and only when there was an uproar, the school administration threw him under the bus saying they didn't agree with his actions. This easily can turn into a hot button issue, because anyone who confronts this issue head on, is deamed a racist All I can say is, good for those kids who grew a pair, and did something to show some respect for this great country and as for those kids who felt offended because american flags were displayed...in America...don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya

^^^ ditto Nice 70s, but I'm really liking the garage. Buggy pics in your garage are awesome, and I'm also digging the farm tractors I grew up collecting those. I just might have to redecorate

I just got a new phone. I got a samsung rogue. I love it! I overran my limit pretty quick,; on the first months bill, I had a surcharge of around $30 extra, because I was checking my DDR . , but only from the home desktop from now on! -
sounds like they've acquired quite the reputation. I first went out there about 14 years ago, and being a newby in this sport, I was blown away. I swear I heard angels singing alleluiah every time I opened their doors, and saw all those bikes. Eventually, in 2000, I bought one there, and a quad for my wife 4 years later. I haven't been out there for a few years now; Sounds like they've dropped the ball! I always figured they'd run the mom and pops stores out of business, not the way they are now

That looks awesome! Anybody care to share a map; I'd like to check that out someday. How far of a drive is it?
-
Was this after talking to the manager? I know they get a lot of high school flunkies in there with an I don't care attitude...

You got me thinkin'. My 2000 cr250 sits in the trailer, all tied down, just about every trip. It was my first brand new bike, heck, brand new anything. I thought I'd save it for my kids someday :argue: I used to go to the local mx tracks with it, just about every weekend, when I was younger/single. I was all about the bike, even laughed at the wussies on four wheels( that I became). Not real sure what it's worth, but maybe I should sell mine too? Congrats on the find! Looks like it was taken care of.

At the end, the 5 hour energy ad says" beat the 2:30 feeling". Anybody else catch that? :bert:
-
Cute boy Randog! Gonna have to beat the girls away with a stick when he get's older. Here are the latest pics of our future DDR members " to be ". Don't know yet, what we're getting.

My future ddr member is having a birthday tomorrow, but mommy and daddy couldn't wait another day to open his present....... do you think he's gonna like it? :ahhhhh: :ahhhhh:

I once tried hosing down the nests they built, only to hear talk from my neighbors across the street. They confronted me about it saying the poor baby birds... Just saying, the pellet gun will work :ahhhhh: , but make sure your neighbors aint watchin' :ahhhhh:

We're hoping to hit Lake Mead 2 or 3 times this summer, followed by our annual family week long trip up at Shaver Lake. All is dependant on the condition of the pregnancy, though. Mead can be a nut buster getting off the water, trying to beat a storm. Don't want to put momma or the babies through that. We'll wait and see what the doc reccomends.

You never know what you'll do until the situation is happening to you...even though you might think you know what you'll do. I've had a knife to my throat over a fuel card(truckstop)... I became quite passive. He was later arrested, from surveillance footage, and I'm still breathin! In the house, I got the sawed off 12 ga. close by too, with 5 in the tube full of birdshot to nick 'em, and 6 00buck in the tactical clip, to send 'em to their maker; but in spite of this, the best thing I've done, was buying the surveillance system/dvr. I got a camera above the front door, with a monitor in the hallway. We can turn on the monitor when we hear a knock, and check them out before we get put in one of those situations. Costco's got an 8 camera system with a dvr on sale this week for $399 I think. It's cheap peace of mind. BTW, My mother in law had a knock on her door, the middle of the day, in Chino Hills, Ca. He wanted to make a phone call, because his car ran out of gas. After refusing, she watched him drive away Glad to hear your friend is ok; let's all heighten our awareness of this growing problem.

It'll need to be putting out between 12.5-14. If it's at 12 or under, I'd think it's the charger; If however, it's puttin out when the gen. is running, then you're probably due for some new batteries.
-
You could always buy the 12v adapter. I got mine at the bass pro shop. I always ran the batteries dead, using it as my speedometer in my old bus. You'd have to cut the cigarette adp. off and wire it in, but it would solve any battery issues. I was thinking about installing a mount in my boat, for some catalina trips :rainbow1: Accuracy changes a bit, sometimes 3', sometime more; but it'll always get you back to camp, or to a stranded buddy

Just temporarily for Dam repairs, beginning late 2010 or early 2011. I'd ask this summer when you're there.

We spent easter at glamis. Weather was perfect: high 70s. Not too cold at night. Freshly groomed virgin dunes. Just got my camera out of the bus . A buddy got his ranger stuck on a razor back, made for a few good shots.
