my wife has been threatining to take our dogs to Dumont, i dont think its a good idea untill i get a hauler, then when we leave they can just run around in there, but while at camp my Australian Heeler will never leave my side...the chihuahua (sp) on the other hand.....i need to lo-jack his arse, i dont trust that dog, he would be gone in a heartbeat, so for me...no pups in the dunes for now

personally....kids dont have a choice, they should have a helmet, at least till they are 18, wether it be a rhino, rail, dirt bike or quad. adults, well they may call you an adult, and you may be old enough to be an adult, so that makes the decision for you as an adult your decision. after the ride in petes mini rail,........iam gonna get him a plexi glass windshield, some oh sh*t bars, a spare tire carrier, and an old water ski that he can carry.... but i dont feel that i needed a helmet.

you are right about scene at the spot, i have ridden every single dune out there, and i still dont know where you are talking about. and i keep hearing some people say "Dont talk about the weld, dont talk about the frame" well as i said before it is merely an observation, now this is where i may sound rude, so i apologize before hand. if i didnt ask about the frame, the welds, or who made it, it could have made a difference, if the frame was not the right chromoly, or the welds were not done properly then the person that made the frame could be held liable in civil suit. there are people out there that have a welder and a tube bender, but that does not make them a "Fabricator". so forgive me for stating the obvious, the frame does not look like it held the way that it was designed. once again, my prayers are with the family.

that frame looks a bit Jenky... i have seen trophy trucks crash in the desert at over 120 mph, and NEVER look that bad. i dont think that frame was buit right or with the right welds or maybe even the right materiels

i to home a while ago, i ended going through Baker just for the heck of it, and for me its 30 miles longer, but it was cool,...just had to have a Gyro anyway. pete sorry about your buggy breakin, iam still spittin sand now and then....man that thing is fast!, to bad about the deaths out there. iam beat though
