i'm really hoping Tomac can make it happen. I don't like the foreign guys KTM is using, and i don't like Redbull as a company so i never root for them.

I love my Rappy, it's not stock either, but it handles great, feels great, jumps great, and does everything i ask it to do.

Video from my last day trip with Jodi

that was taken from a mount that we sell. PM me or check it out at www.goodtimesproducts.com Make sure you tether the camera somehow if you mount it to the bike. The cases can break from the vibration or if you kick it. trust me. -

It's Offical. Got a summer gig @ Idaho Dunes RV, St. Anthony
Adam @ GTP Off Road replied to sandawg's topic in General Chat
That seems like a good place to spend the summer. I'd love to get out of the heat or be at the dunes, both is a super bonus. I am hoping to make the trip next year as well with Mike and Jodi... and maybe even the wife. I'd consider a trip this summer with a good car pool. I can fit 4 guys comfy in the F150 and can haul some toys, just got no where to sleep if off. -
for $10,000 i'll pick up the pot and dump it on her head... just sayin' But sure... i'll do it, why not.

i'm the type that would point out the other girls tactics... maybe they would disqualify her.

there are only so many people on this site. Not sure how many more votes will come from here. The other girl probly found a way to cheat... there is always, always, a way to cheat.

considering this guy almost took out a few different people, and on the finger dune, where he was going straight over all day, there was a family running around a little bowl. If he had gone straight over there he would have ran someone over. he was brave that's for sure, stupid too maybe. Sliding down the hills sideways, and straight over, not idea what's there. That won't last long before he crashes or hits someone. I saw his tracks in one area and cut that dune short just in case.

It was a fun day. Little pissed about the amount of race gas i had to run to get it to stop pinging. By the end of the day i was pretty much straight Rebel 100. Did some tuning and testing. It was also easily in the 80's most of the day, and maybe even low 90's so that doesn't help the ping. I haven't delt with the tuning, pinging, and motor mods much so i'm on a learning curve for sure. I just know i don't want to straight 100 all the time. Hoping cooler temps, and dropping out more timing, and a cooler Spark plug will help. The dunes were super ripped up, and it was weird to see so many people waling around, riding with no flags, riding double, riding with no helmets. I felt like i was in Utah for a minute. BLM was out there, but just saw one SUV. At least the new Handlebars, grips and other various mods seemed to be working well. the guy in the LT was NUTS. i haven't driven and sandcar, and probly never will but if i do I WON'T be taking driving lessons from him. he would do the straight up drop, then go real slow and slide the car sidweays down the hill. He landed once in a witches eye, but it was a big one so not too bad, Once almost hit an XP, got the beam car stuck, almost took out a line of quads, and i think that was about it. All in a matter of 30 minutes maybe. The car sounded Awesome though... lol

well then let's go Jodi... if mike wants to work, then we can just go at this point... lol if he can go we can always carpool with your flatbed trailer.
-
i'm hoping to get something in. If there is some good quad ride opportunities i am ready for a day trip at least.
-
I'll take the one with the nice headlights... lol Any recent photos, what is the current condition?

Things to do when storing a sandcar
Adam @ GTP Off Road replied to dunefreak's topic in Sandrail Talk
just a nooby question, but can't you put the car up on jack stand or blocks to keep the weight off the tires? If the back tires were off the ground you could even drop it in gear to turn the full drive train.
