My part came in, and it's off at powder coating. If I get it back from powder I will be all good. I have to set camber and Toe, but that shouldn't be too hard. I'll have plenty of time Saturday to mess with it. I also have to get a trailer, might be going to Boulder City to buy one.

looks like Saturday is supposed to be quite a bit cooler. I'm still waiting for a part, but hoping I can get it all back together Friday.

I'm still waiting for a couple parts. Thought I was going to get it done today (Saturday), but couldn't make what I had work. I am doing a NXS Design Long Travel. This kit is 5lbs heavier then stock, but I am also doing Billet Aluminum hubs that are 2 lbs each lighter then stock. So overall i'm going to have a lighter, Stonger, Wider kit. Can't wait to try it out. I got the back tires on today but I need to adjust the camber once I get it all on the ground. I also took the cheesy plastic Exhaust cover off, and added a new one, with custom powder to match. I'll do a full write up soon in a more appropriate thread... PS... Really hoping for the 14th....

Anyone tried a cellular booster with AT&T
Adam @ GTP Off Road replied to markha's topic in General Chat
i used a small 24db booster when I was with Sprint. Sprint Roams on Verizon anyway as Sprint has no towers out there. It did work on off weekends and if your parked in the right areas. On a busy weekend the towers get over loaded either way. I have been looking at a better booster that does 75db and will most likely have that for next season when we are on vendor row. We switch our company phones to Verizon for service while vending, and while having fun. Much better then Sprint was. The trick will be finding out if AT&T has actual towers of their own, or if your roaming on Verizon. They know your roaming and slow those first. -

My New RZR, Phase 1 Complete
Adam @ GTP Off Road replied to Adam @ GTP Off Road's topic in Side x Side Talk
Thanks all. I think it turned out pretty good. It is what I wanted. After putting is almost 200 miles with the stock shocks, the Zbros Upgrade kit made a very nice improvement. The cage and wrap both came out great and gave me the look I was going for. Still have Phase 2 and 3 to go, and 4 also... lol It never stops, but it's gonna sit like this for a little bit. -
Got my RZR back this week and got it all wired up and done.

Adam @ GTP Off Road replied to Dent boy's topic in Dumont Happenings
Yeah, just got my RZR back and I need to get some photos and I really need a sand fix. Dumont might be a little warm, but I think doable. I have a DJ gig Saturday night at Moapa Valley High, outside of Mesquite and won't get back to Vegas till midnight or later. So Sunday will have to be my Funday... -

It's springtime. What fun stuff do you have planned?
Adam @ GTP Off Road replied to dunefreak's topic in General Chat
Labor day will be the UTV Invasion at St. Anthony. It's by far the busiest weekend they have as I understand it. Still it's only about 20k people. The riding area is huge. Our rides from Camp to the end and back were 30 miles total. It's big, big dunes. Should be fun this year now that I have my own RZR. I didn't enjoy the rzr rides with my Raptor last year. It's very wide open with dunes over and over the size of comp hill. We are going as it's an industry ride type of thing. -

President's Weekend 2015 reports
Adam @ GTP Off Road replied to dunefreak's topic in Dumont Happenings
It was a VERY warm/ Hot weekend out there. GTP Made it out there Thursday and was set-up ready to sell on Friday. The usual vendors were out there with a few more T-shirt guys. We have added more and more stuff to what we sell based on what we get asked for and that seemed to help out a bunch of happy customers this weekend. We brought in some Awesome RZR accessories from .50 Caliber, Modquad, Pro Armor, Axia, and more. Doesn't seem like many people look at that stuff out there though. I think, and have heard, many people say we jack up our prices since we are out that the dunes. Overall, this is VERY untrue. We want to be fair to all our customers, and make a point of keep our prices fair. Some things are always cheap on the internet, but we aren't jacking up our pricing. Still have some weekend trips planned, then it will be time to hit the cooler areas. -
I think we are going in 2 weeks. The dunes need some wind to clean up after this weekend.

Dumont seems to have gotten alot of rain this year
Adam @ GTP Off Road replied to dunefreak's topic in Dumont Happenings
It was pretty wet. It was raining pretty hard on the drive out and Friday night setting up. I said screw and knew the Dune Gods would shine down on us. They did with nice weather Saturday and sunday. It was low 70's each day. The wet sand was making the bikes even run a little warm. The top layers were drying out, and if it stays dry till Presidents it should be pretty nice. The wet sand made for some nice lines but even with very few people it got tore up pretty good Saturday. Saturday night winds smoothed things out nicely.
