i think i am going with some other DDR peeps, but i only went there once and we left after 30 minutes as it was very windy. I will let them chime in with details.

yeah, it wasn't good for a group as we couldn't all sit togther, which is kinda the point of a get together IMO. It was nice to see some duners again, and i met some new ones.

No i just forget everything, so figured a reminder was in order.

just put it in my calender, should be good for this one.

i don't have any specific suggestions. but i should be able to make it to this one.

i am planning a trip to Florence Or in August. This will be my bachelor party... yep riding. best thing i can think of. I want to try and do a St. Anthony - Florence trip, but not sure about time and money. Oregon will be a definite for me though, but not Dunefest.

i think it's from the electrical in the bike. it am sure the camera is pretected from magnetic fields, and it fluctuates with the rpm of the bike as well. the videos are getting harder to do, especially when i don't do any "photoshoot" kinda of stuff.

yep... the song was under a UMG restriction but Youtube says it's only blocked in Germany and Japan. so I left it. If people can't see it i may have to change the song. So dumb. My youtube account is DJraprider. that might help as well.

Paid gig.. you are funny Terry. wow, it's going to be hot then. not many people will be out there at all. most are done for the season. I only have quads so I guess i am not cool enough. I have been on a reality show before. I hope they don't make Dumont and offroaders look like a bunch of idiots just to get some ratings. I like the idea, but these things never usually turn out right, and certainly have NOTHING to do with any kind of reality. This was done by the idiots at Left Field Productions who shot the "Pawn Stars" episode with the rail and rzr.

I am out that day, but ready for the next one.

i am not wanting to be done, but looked at temps and it don't look good. I am also very busy till beginning of May. I will make it out if/when i can.

an Xp would be backwrds from the car, but better then driving the s. I could see how that would be harder on the body. Just sucks. That is a great car.

looks like it will be time to upgrade the RZR s to an XP soon at least. or is that out as well?

wow... i didn't like the 4 seater side x sides anyway but that is crazy. 15mph is pretty slow, must have been a big witches eye??? if you want a 4 seater to dune buy a car i guess. by the time you dump all the money in a side x side to set it up you will be in about the same money anyway.

all sounds good to me. My schedule is always weird so i will just have to play it by ear for them. I am happy to have met so many great people on my first season.

there were a couple out there last weekend. T-shirts, Sunglasses, and the Flag guy (who is AWESOME). my guess is you will have the same ones this weekend but it is getting pretty warm out there.

that was kinda short....lol i had great fun and i am very sore. Everyone is so nice at the dunes and helping out the rookie. I can't say thank you enough. We went on quit a few rides. Thursday i rode my Outlaw to run some gas through it. Such a difference between the Raptor and Outlaw for sure. That independent is like a pillow even when landing some jumps. Two rides on the Outlaw and back on the trailer it went. Rest of the weekend was on the Raptor. Mike leads some great runs but saturday hurt himself going over a dune and landing hard. I followed and learned my lesson on following too close. We followed mike to Noth Pole then Terry (ynot) took over. By Saturday evening the dunes were getting pretty ripped up in spots, so we looked for the more virgin sand. I even lead a couple rides with Christina's Daughter following. we went on so many rides i forget who else came. i know Jodi was following on at least one of them. It's nerve raking leading, especially as a rookie, leading a novice rider. Drea did great though i even picked some stuff that looked kinda hard and she just followed. Had to get one more ride in Sunday before i left, and Jim and his girl were gearing up so i got ready to. We went on a nice ride and when i got back to camp i loaded the raptor right onto the trailer. Back to reality. I have some video editing to do, this was mostly runs with no real special shots so nothing fancy. Not sure who got photos. I know Mike got some cool ones of me jumping. The food, the rides, and the friends were all great this weekend!

i definitely had a blast, Pete leads good rides and finds some fun jumps. Hoping for more weekends next season.
