That is the first time I have seen a chipmunk on top of the bowl, he zigged when he should have zagged, He might have made it through it but if he did he's a sore puppy tonight. B370 has the I got to hand signals down pat now, not once but twice he fed the remaining live critters! The sand has competely changed and is very unsafe in my opinion, holes everywhere, even at the top of Comp. Steep razors have never scared me but I was truly glad ISBB was on the upside of one of them! Car is working awesome now, I have to thank Danzio Performance, they are a little pricey but damm that thing pulls like a freight train now. Something it hasn't done in awhile!! Hard to believe that a 2 wheel drive navigator and a 25' trailer would be out at the dunes in July with the possibility of no one else being out there to help them out, barley got a Thanks out of him for pulling him out. Must have been some of those dreaded flatbillers! weather was actually nice, with a little breeze this morning it was pleasant. Life is good, Duning in the morning and taking a nap in the pool on a floatie during the afternoon.

No before numbers as the car was running so bad that if they would have dyno'd the car before there could have been a lot of damage. The injectors were clogged and needed to be replaced and a new paper fuel filter had to be mounted before he would even dyno the car. The car had a fuel filter on it but apparently it is not set up for smaller particles. So over time the car has gotten worse due to the injectors getting clogged up. Let's just say it should run like a completely different car then I have ever run. With the new turbo's it spools so fast I think I will be busy shifting up a lot!

We are definetly going. We could meet up and throw the bike on the trailer if you want Sat. Am. With 3 of us it shouldn't be that hard to put it on the trailer and get it strapped down I would think?

My lazy side says aww just wait till it gets cooler but my right foot says DO IT! Nick if you want to go we can put your bike on the front of the trailer and all go in one vehicle. Is there a way you can get it to me say Thursday night or friday so I can load it and then the car? We can go either sat or Sunday I am open to either day.

I have grip tape on mine works very well and you can make sure your not kicking the panels.

Actually both areas have Techanical Review Teams (TRT). The ASA does nothing for Dumont and is only focused on Glamis. If there was a problem at Dumont IE: a threat of closeure I am sure ASA would be asked to help as it will affect their area sooner than later.

New fees go into effect 10-01-2007. At the next TRT meeting we are talking about buying passes at local retailers and from BLM direct by online or phone.

Since this is DDR's website I also will acknowledge their HELP in putting on the clean up, however this event has been and will always be put on by the Friends Odf Dumont Dunes.ORG and has been for the last 5 years. As for the BLM fees and oversight of their use of the money this is monitered by the TRT and we definetly look at every dime they spend. if you look through other posts on this site about the TRT meetings and fee increases you will see that we( Dumont) have lost all our Green sticker money and Congressional allocations. This is the reason for the increase. As for services over the last 2 years that fees have been in place services have increased from no on hand LEO/EMT's on busy weekends and most other weekends they were on call from Baker to on site staff. We have also upgraded the road, kept the bathrooms clean and pumped out and have 2 volunteers out there all season. These things were not there before and have been made possible by the fee demo money. We also have 2 water trucks and use of graders and a loader that were not available before. If you need any other info please let me know and I will do what I can do to assist. The next meeting of the TRT is set for August 14th in Barstow if you would like to and can attend. Terry

Not to much of a draw at all, I have a solar panel to keep the batteries charged also and have never had an issue. the alarm shuts off and resets after 8 minutes. If you hide the wires they would not know it was there until it was going off and hopefully they would be making tracks. I would be glad to show you my system if you are interested.

I have an alarm system on mine and that I sell. It flashes the lights and a siren and can be set up to lock up the tires through your electric brakes. Works very well and is for sale at a DDR price of $260.00. Fairly easy to install if you have any electrial skills at all. Let me know if you want to look at my set up. it also has wireless remote control and wireless door sensors. Terry

Same trailer but I believe he got his painted to match the M/H. Luckily mine came that way from te factory! I have talked to duneflyer a couple of times. Seems to be a genuine nice guy who apparently has a cpl nickels of his own to rub together.
