Here is the endorsment list for nevada Class A is required to drive combination vehicles, such as tractor-trailers, with a gross combination weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 pounds or more, provided the vehicle being towed has a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 10,001 pounds or more. Class B is required to drive single vehicles with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds; the operator may tow a vehicle weighing 10,000 pounds GVWR or less. Class C is for cars, vans, pickups, mopeds, and other vehicles with a GVWR of 26,000 pounds or less; allows towing of a vehicle with a GVWR of 10,000 pounds or less. Class M is for motorcycles. If you drive a motorcycle and a Class A, B, or C vehicle, your license will show both classes, provided you have met all other requirements. Additionally, Nevada has a Class M license with a U Restriction that limits riders to mopeds, trimobiles, and motorcycles that are less than 90 cc and do not exceed 6½ horsepower. See Motorcycles, Mopeds & Bicycles. Endorsement J Allows Class C license to tow a vehicle over 10,000 pounds GVWR. Additional written and skills tests are required. Endorsement R Allows Class C license to tow a combination of vehicles not to exceed 70 feet in length. Additional written and skills tests are required. Endorsement F For firefighters, farmers and military members who drive non-commercial heavy equipment. This endorsement is a limited exemption from commercial licensing requirements. Restriction A Must wear corrective eye lenses (glasses or contacts). Restriction P Commercial driver required to obtain a physical exam every two years. Restriction X Issued in a variety of circumstances such as driving only on a specific route or during specific hours or driving only a certain type of vehicle. The restrictions will be listed on the back of the license or in an official statement the motorist must carry. Hope this helps

I have considered doing the same thing. Where are you from? I think there is a limit on total lenth of truck, hauler and trailer. You might need a special endorsment on you license.

I haven't had my truck out towing since I put the gauge in but I used to go by the water temp. When it would get above 210 I would just drop down a gear and the water temp would come right down. One day I will get the thing re-geared and that should help as well.

Nice to see your still alive Dan.

Thanks Jason. This is what I found on there. Maximum sustained egt is around 1350. At around 1700-1800 i believe aluminum starts to become pretty fragile and melt, so you wouldnt want your egt to peak that high for more than a couple of seconds

I just put a pyrometer in my Duramax. I was wondering what the max temp is that I should allow it to get to. It has the LBZ in it if that makes any difference.

Congrats Cole. I hope it looks like Jules.

Glad that you could make it over yesterday Cole. Hope to see you again before you leave.

Are you gonna come by and have a beer or two before you leave. Haven't seen you in a while.

Yep. Until I sell it I am gonna drive it. I scrapped all that nonsence about not driving it anymore. Looking forward to some good runs. Besides I need to test out the new injectors, roof and heims. -
We are all prepped, packed and ready to go. Just waiting for the week to end now. I hope all of you that can get there early be safe. Those dunes are gonna need some trimming.

I love the back up camera on my truck. Now that I have a fifth wheel it needs to get moved up to the roof of the cab. -
Where's the daily oil update? Don't make me watch the news.

CV JOINTS dear. Also need to swap out a few more heims, maybe biggger steering wheel. Lots of crap do in the hauler. Still need to get some gauges for the truck now that we are pulling the new heavy a$$ trailer.

I am glad you all had a good time and sorry for those that didn't. This is the first year in a long time I haven't made it up there but had to take care of some things before playing. Hopefully we will be all situated for the season. Last year my kid swiped a bunch of tadpoles out of that pound and we ended up having to give away about thirty toads.
