Another great weekend at the dunes, rolled in Thur afternoon, the road was in great shape. Dust was down from the showers, no rain all weekend, sun was out, overall some great weather for the dunes. The dunes were really chopped up which made a bumpy ride. The wind started Sat afternoon and the backsides were starting to smooth out some, wish we could have stayed for a morning ride today. Got on the road at 6am, no traffic at all. Most peeps I've seen at comp in over a year, good turnout. Mofo's took off to comp last night without a couple, it's all good though, got a good nights sleep for an early morning trip home. Meet some more DDR peeps this trip as well, nice meeting all of ya.... See you all next time...Semper Fi, Woody

Welcome to Barstow.... Ft Irwin is about 30 minutes out of town, nothing out that way to rent, A couple nice apartment places here in town. Building alot of new houses as well, are you looking for an apartment or house? no family/big family? Alot of empty places around, just want to stay out of some area's. About like 29, nothing here, have to drive to Victorville (30 mins) about the same as 29 to yucca for that, did just open a chili's here at Lynwood, you should drive over one weekend and check it out. Let me know if you need anything couple town papers or such and I can mail them to ya. Kinda like a sponsor at your next duty station...SF Woody

Good thing he stopped to look up and firemen were there. That could have been alot worse. Been watching the news all weekend about that, alot of unfortunate people. WoW...... What a great time and turn out. I'd like to Thank everyone that participated, it is much appreciated and a great cause you helped out. It all went pretty smooth being the 1st one. They will get bigger and better as they go. I'd like to Thank Mark from Performance Rhino for stepping up to the plate with his donations, it's not the 1st time, he's donated great prizes for every event we've put on and that says alot about him and the business... Great job Mark.... All the volunteers showed up and made everything run smoothly....Thanks to everyone again, we are a community that really does care, and I think BLM really sees that. Looking forward to hanging out with everyone again, meet some more great peeps out this weekend.... I'll have the sound system as well, try to dig up a table. I can sit out at a check point the entire time, no big deal there, just passing out cards and drinking some type of cold refreashment, take the truck out with a cooler and a chair, hopefully be to busy to sit down though....SF Woody
