Fee increase was approved
high octane junkie replied to SailAway's topic in Dumont Regulations, Safety & BLM
i'm 100% sure about the quality statement. i was told by the pass distributor at dumont over veteran's day weekend that the season passes would definitely be available on the 21st of november. i guess they knew that the fee increase would be approved during this meeting. no matter, it's all very worth it. -
it can be used as an acknowledgment such as "okay" or "right on", or a greeting such as "what's up?" or "hello".

you'll never know if you never ask, toots.

Updates on Charlie (quad accident @ comp)
high octane junkie replied to dunefreak's topic in General Chat
we'll see you at the dunes, brother. -
ehh.. better than a buck twenty.
-
i think that's what i have. if so, i'd recommend it.

i've had no problems with renthal chains. i have one on a hundred horse banshee.. third season and no issues. and another on a 74 horse banshee, third season no issues.
-
apparently some people don't read a thread through before posting.

i had a vito's hemi cool-head, and then a trinity cool-head on the banshee that had the fmf fatty exhaust and no rubbing. are you sure it's installed correctly? yeah, those pipes are holding you back with that much motor. i'm very happy with the shearer big bore in-frame drag pipes on my 485 cheetah pv shee. they're expensive, atleast $850 but they're the best in-frame you can get. if you're gonna get an out-frame drag pipe, get a shearer as well.

psychopath test. "You scored 21 out of forty on the psychopathy scale Forensic studies of prison populations have reported average scores of around 22. You should be in jail, congratulations. Oh the bright side (if you're a man) I don't think you'll have to worry about being anally raped; you are a bit too frightening to be molested. So sharpen your shiv and go at them. "

ITP paddles or sand gecko
high octane junkie replied to dumontdude10's topic in ATV / Motorcycle Talk
you're better off running your stock knobbies than sand gecko's. i've come to the conclusion that there was no R&D involved in manufacturing those tires. itp sandstars are affordable and decent.. they'll push you through the sand better than dirt tires. SSU comp cut sand skate 1 are a very awesome tire, as stated above. SS2's aren't bad either. Skat Trak edge tires as stated above as well. -
Thanksgiving. Maybe a dumb question,
high octane junkie replied to ~JILL~'s topic in Dumont Happenings
unlike the trustee's, i'll be like the rest of us folks in gen. pop. and be there thursday through sunday. -
negative. i had a banshee with fmf fatty expansion chambers on it for three years and no issues.

i fill up there on the way and dump there on the way back every trip. i don't drink the water ever, but i bathe in it! =)~

i think this is the wrong place to be letting off steam on this particular matter. virtually everyone on this board is here because they love dumont and respect the dunes and regulations out there. there were people riding through our camp this weekend before all of the campers were out there because we were right next to a finger dune. my helper was upset about it and was yellin' at the folks ridin' through until i reminded him that it was going to happen and we couldn't do nothing about it until the path was blocked off by a hauler. we flagged down a few of them and for the most part they stopped. i informed them they were ridning through a camp. i was polite, but stern, about it and they were very respectful in return. if you see something that you don't like, do something about it besides getting mad and ventilating it on this forum. there's alot of rangers there and i know it sucks sellin' out but with the fee's we're payin', let's put 'em to good use. can i get a yayee yay!

the positive things from your Halloween trip
high octane junkie replied to dunefreak's topic in 2007/2008 Season
1) first beef 'wich from the heaven since laughlin. 2) second beef 'wich from hog heaven this weekend. 3) found an okie doke spot for our camp, plenty of room. 4) glad that folks do recognize buckets as camp markers. 5) hundred horse shee was runnin' nifty. 6) the broads shee almost has the set-up figger'd out. 7) my helper didn't kill himself on the broads 700 raptor, although he tried. 8) the rhino, the shee's, and the raptor ran okie doke. 9) the dood and the adorable kids in the back of his rhino who tipped on the finger to avoid a couple kids on the finger didn't get hurt. 10) the truck and camper and everything made it through the weekend flawlessly, and back home safely. -
"darkness! come 'ere, darkness. what did the five fingers say to the face?" -slap- "i'm rick james, b*tch!"

Sandrail wheelies into a Banshee on comp
high octane junkie replied to dunefreak's topic in Dumont Happenings
the times have changed. i got into an accident on my quad in the dirt which resulted in a criminal and monetary penalty. i'm not going to go into it further than that. the driver of the rail will be held responsible, along with the owner of the rail i assure you.
