are these little cars any good?
high octane junkie replied to DIRTY DYKSTRA's topic in Sandrail Talk
the drakart is designed for hard dirt and racing applications as well. i'm gonna be purchasing the two seater when i get a bigger hauler. i'm not gonna drive two trucks to the dunes. that'll be .02 please. thanks. now be gone. -
i can't wait. i started tearing it apart last night. raptoroy is da man.. don't let him try to tell you otherwise.
-
the 111 at the rebel warehouse is leaded. you have to fill it into a container.. they won't let you pump it into a vehicle directly.
-
you can also get 111 at the rebel warehouse on sahara/i-15. $5.95 per gallon i think.
-
thanks for the replies. if i need some more assistance i'll certainly ask.
-
i didn't strap down the rhino well enough president's day... wrecked the cabinet. oh well.. whattaya gonna do? i also modified one of the cabinets too.. i think i did a neat0 job of it.
-
appreciate it, 1320. i'll keep it in mind. i found a website of a local dwarf car club, and i'll try and get the skinny from one of the members, and possibly join if they're okay with it.

i have some snap-on tools, but mostly wrenches. metric/sae wrenches and sockets (1/4, 3/8, 1/2), torque wrench, air impact (3/8, 1/2) , air socket (1/4, 3/8), screwdrivers, pliers, deadblows, compression gauge, snap-ring pliers, allen wrenches (metric, sae), taps & dies, files, drill bits, etc. i have some craftsman tools as well. i also have jacks, stands, bench grinder, bead blaster, etc. whatever tools i may need to work with i can purchase as well. my buddy, raptoroy, could probably do some welding for me. i have zero experience with dwarf cars. i can take things apart and put 'em back together confidently. i could use some help figurin' this thing out, though. i purchased a used car and i can't see myself driving it the way it is. i'm having a hard time with the pedals placement. i'm also gonna try and contact a dwarf car club and see what the rules are for running at pahrump and mohave ie: weight regulations, set-ups etc. i do have experience with riding in dirt! =)~ i have two 700 raptors, a hundred horse banshee, a 75 horse banshee, another banshee, a quadzilla, a 350 odyssey, and a rhino. i don't have any experience circle track racing at all. hope any of this helps, and i appreciate your response and offer. i'm near green valley hs. i have a three car garage (full of quads and tools and stuff) but i can shuffle things around and have enough room to work. anything you can do to help would be apreciated and any reasonable expense you require will be covered. thanks, joseph.

any of you folks have any experience with dwarf cars, either racing or chassis set-up & prep? just purchased a '32 ford dwarf with a yamaha fj1100 (1219 big bore) and sure could use some help getting started. gimme a holler, any information or help will be appreciated.

nice.

gracias. haven't figured out yours yet, but i only watch a couple movies a year.
-
apparently i mistakenly thought that you had disassembled your car, re-did it, than re-assembled it in a new scheme. looks muoy bueno.

you gotta care about the rules first before deciding to honor them, heh. i was unaware of any rules.. just offering a movie quote. proceed with your game.

Pics from "07 CLEAN UP! lets see 'em.
high octane junkie replied to DuNe45oR's topic in 2006/2007 Season
i think that red car has a honda motor and an extremely lightweight chassis. -
"what part of jamaica are you from?" .. "right near the beach"
-
it was way hot and they took a long time handing out prizes but there was a great showin'. i went 0 for 9 in the raffle. caught a tee-shirt though, had alot of fun cleanin' up. found five bucks in some sagebrush. it was heart-breaking seein' all the empty water bottles lyin' in the sand after havin' a very well organized clean-up. did anyone mention it was hot? raptoroy tok me on a wild rail ride after the clean-up.. the heat/food/rail-ride combo got my chick feelin' a bit unwell. had to leave early but had a blast. see you effers next season.

high octane junkie replied to dreamrr's topic in ATV / Motorcycle Talk

i had the trinity full exhaust installed on mine, along with a dynatek cdi, k&n filter, and 500 watt stator.. acceleration is better, but i'm not sure if it's due to the exhaust or a better curve in the cdi. on president's day weekend, on sunday evening, i climbed comp. hill twice in my rhino. yay me. i have terracross tires mounted. just thought i'd add that. i was stoked.
-
heh, effer. yeah.. for some reason i couldn't find the nascar channel on xm this trip?!?!?!?!? i was disappointed. guess i'll get off my rear and get winegard.
-
i seen you there, i waited until you left to leave myself. i just wanted to get a photo of all the rhino's, but it only looked like there was a couple.

Yamaha Rhino height problem in Weekend Warrior
high octane junkie replied to Desertdog's topic in Toyhauler/ RV Talk
i have a 25 foot sierra sport. my rhino clears the bottom bunk with a couple inches to spare. i installed four trailtech hid lights, upside down, so they'd clear goin' in. i have 26" terracross tires, no problem. just some info and idea's. good luck. -
president weekend observations
high octane junkie replied to vegas style's topic in 2006/2007 Season
observation: the glamis ese's are irritating. had two trucks of 'em run from me and my chick friday night at the hill (i'm 150 lbs. of sicilian, she's 5'1?!?!?!?!? if you're gonna get loud, get loud with actions, too. if not, stay at glamis.
