I've wanted to get a newer toy hauler for several years, since mine is a 98
model.
I have spent a lot of time over the years getting this old girl set up
perfectly for me and my needs. The only real issue that is a pain in the butt
is the flat roof.
Every time it rains the water puddles up around the air conditioner
and starts to leak. I have to go out and lower the front jacks to let the water run off and tighten the bolts that secure the AC. Other than that it serves it's purpose, for me.
I looked at a newer model at a show this weekend and it was $25,000 and
constructed so cheaply that I decided it just isn't worth it to me to buy a new one. With some simple maintenance. I would be able to keep mine if I could find a way to crown the roof without adding too much weight to the rig.
Does anybody know of something like this being done before?
