jaytoland80
I have 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 Diesel and it is not charing my trailer batteries while it is hooked up drving or not. Is there a fuse that is not plugged in or something on my trailer. I have 2006 Sandpiper Sport by Forest River. Any help would be great! Sincity_blondie
Did you check the batteries on your hauler? I had this problem last season, turned out the batteries just needed to be replaced.

jaytoland80
Well I checked the truck and the #19 fuse was good. I need to find the one for my trailer and I looked all over for it. I am going to call the dealer today and ask them. Thanks for all the input!!!
jaytoland80
I also put new batteries in it just recently because I thought the batteries were bad that's when I discovered my truck is not charging the trailer.
dunefreak
Check the power at the truck's accessory/ charge pin at the trailer connector while it's running. If it's good you won't have to waste anymore time checking the truck out w/ fuses and stuff. It may be an issue w/ the trailer.
