Stray48
I've just got a question... If I have a Polaris Ranger that is registered in the state of Utah and I take it to Dumont do I need an OHV sticker. I have been going to Dumont for years but this is the first time i've had a registered vehicle with me, and i've heard people say yes and no so I just thought I would throw it out there. Thanks, Steve
draggindre
i believe that you still have to get an out of state pass legaly but most people just play the i didnt know roll and since its registerd you can probaly get away with it. good luck

No need for the Non Res. registration like us Nevadans
dunefreak
This is how the rule is worded. "If you are not a resident of California and your OHV is not registered in your home state, you are required to have a California "Nonresident" OHV permit to legally operate your vehicle." so... If your vehicle (Ranger) is registered in Utah then you do NOT need an OHV out of state permit.
iweb
Dunefreak is right on, I have my Rhino registered in Utah and have Utah stickers, if no stickers then I would have to get Ca permit and sticker.
subie01
dune freak is right i have spoken to both sides of the fence. Cali. is cool with a Utah sticker and Utah is cool with a cali. sticker . i went to sand hallow and my sister got a ticket because her bike didn't have a cali. res. sticker and i did. and I have a Honda 450 that is reg. in Utah and Ive been pulled over at dumont and they were cool with the Utah reg. sticker.
