MAXDOUT
THAT SUCKS... AWHILE BACK THEY TRIED TO GET INTO MINE ALSO. BUT THEY ONLY CUT THE LOCKS OFF. A BUDDY OF MINE TOOK ONE OF HIS MOTION DETECTORS OUT OF HIS HOME. HE PUT IT IN HIS TRAILER IN HIS RV PARKING, THEN WHEN HE SETS HIS ALARM ON HIS HOME, THE MOTION DETECTOR IS WORKING INSIDE HIS TRAILER. SO IF IT GOES OFF, NOT ONLY DOES HE GET A CALL FROM THE ALARM PEOPLE, BUT HIS EXTERIOR SIREN GOES OFF TO ALERT THE NEIGBORS. PREETY GOOD IDEA. b370
Pete: I installed Terry's alarm in his TPD, and I have to its a slick system. Even IF they try to steal the whole trailer, its hard to get away w/ all the brakes locked. It will get the point across to anyone "trying" to get into it. Good luck dude and I hope you catch the effrs

If they take the trailer as a whole, that wouldn't even be as bad as having to fix the damn thing. I'll be putting a security sys on for sure now in the near future. EY3BA11
I kinda like the wireless motion sensor... I dont know the distance those things get from the control panel ( steveo ) but it would be sweet... you could arm just that one location or whatever and not worry about it... and if it does go off.. You know about it.. the authorities know about it.. and your neigbors know about it..

Steveo isn't installing some POS casino cameras. They will be high quality Infra-red cameras that are pretty damn clear, even at night. b370
Pete: As long as I know ahead of time I'll come give you a hand. There are a few tricks that I did on Terry's that will make the biggest difference. (I used to run a 12v car audio shop back east) It may take a little longer to do but will pay for itself in the long run. Always remember the alarm is only as good as how well they are installed. In the mean time, I thought about something I saw at one of my shops back east. Its a hunting item (no not a shotgun for the POS theifs, tho it would be nice) These guys picked up these motion cameras that were infrared (stills not motion) They used it to scope out hunting spots in heavy wooded areas. They would leave some feed out and mount this camera to a tree. As soon as it detected any motion it would start snapping off photos. It can be used w/ or w/o a flash and worked VERY VERY well. I believe it was 35mm film that you loaded in but Im sure by now they have digital. I am not sure the cost but they were fairly cheap. I saw first hand the photos taken by these cameras and I was very impressed. I am back east right now and could get ahold of some info on them if you would like. If I remember right you could set the timing on the camera (how many shots per second or minute. Sincity Blondie; Im sure we could work something out.
