aceisback
Glad they fixed it for you guys. I went out there two weeks ago and it was by far the worst I had seen it in all of my time of visiting Dumont. Even hoped to never return as it was damn near unbearable. Will probably put my season pass in the classifieds... This weekend at Glamis Wash Road was as smooth as Gecko Road, and is normally always that way. BLM put in many many hours of hard work over the off season to get the foundation raised and hardened. Kept it moist all weekend too so no dust came from the road at all. Thumbs up to BLM for making the trip to the camp areas enjoyable. Not sure why the same can't be done for the Dumont entrance???
BLUE STEEL
i had a good talk with the same BLM ranger. he said they had a staff meeting where he told his supervisors about our conversation 2 weeks ago. and the new policy is the road gets graded on october 1 starting next year. i thanked him for taking it up with the BLM office and he thanked me for letting him know how we felt. the 3 rangers that were at joes accident were very nice and are on our side about most stuff. i would give the road a A both in on Wednesday and out sunday! Good to hear.
