Duner23
I have a slave cylinder thats leaking and I have no pressure in my clutch, should I get it rebuilt or just buy a new assembly?? Any ideas? Thanks
JasonR
i think you should replace it....but rebuilding it would be cheaper..but sometimes rebuilding aluminum slave, masters, calipers, or wheel cyl can have its problems. your supposed to hone out the cyl and by doing that on a aluminum one is not recommended just my Jason, ASE master tech. \
dunefreak
The best thing to do would have CNC rebuild it (if it's a CNC slave). They put a stainless sleeve in it, but it's just easier and much faster to just replace it. Pete, ASE master tech <--

I have nothing worth adding to this post!! - I have nothing worth adding to this post!! - I have nothing worth adding to this post!! - x2 on the replacement... It will cost almost as much to rebuild it as it would to just go buy another one. Tim ALMOST ASE Master Tech ALMOST Ford Master Tech NOW Overpaid Government Employee and loving it!!!
