dunefreak
Oh man that is great news, Randy! I've been texting Chris and he still seems to be in great spirits and doing really well. I hope the recovery goes quicker than expected. Thanks for keeping us up to date.
Randog
I've been laggin' on the updates for Grimace. Sorry peeps! He's still doing great. Even better every day. He's still in the rehab hospital for now. He's the life of the place (if you can imagine). He was able to come visit the whole family @ my pad on Christmas day. What a trooper. It was a lot of work for him just to get to the couch from the driveway. We all had a blast! He attended our nieces B-day party earlier this month too. A couple times he's gone out on a day trip with staff and other patients to the mall, movies, LA, and stuff. It's awesome that he can get out once in a while. He's had some struggles with an infection. then a cold, and some other things, but he's been super dedicated to his rehab and it's showing. He's building strength at an awesome pace. His back is feeling great. :dumbass: Can still move his right foot a bit. He's slowly getting feeling and movement back in his left foot. The feeling in that foot helps him balance, so he can stand and walk with support better. He's got custom supports now for his ankles and feet that allow him to now wear regular shoes. That's what I have for now. I'll update more often for now on. I was really hoping to be able to take him out to the regatta but don't think that's an option yet. Thank you all for the prayers, and support for Chris. R-

Randog
Update on Grimdog, He's coming home today to stay. The insurance is cutting back and don't wanna pay for the hospital anymore. That's ok though cuz he's doing great. He's getting feeling back in many areas. He can now move his left foot left to right. He's been walking with ski poles for a week now. His walk is smooth too. His attitude is still awesome. Holy chit he's a fuggin' crack up still. Dr.s said his progress is outstanding. He has driven several time in the cars with hand controls. He will still be going to the hospital for therapy a few times a week. It's such a great feeling knowing that he is healing like this. Welcome home Bro!
