Kitcat
I could care less about the lights. Less $$ going to NV Energy!!! Plus, I usually have to assist if Mark can't get a buddy to be his spotter. No one on our street has their light up. Bah Humbug!!!
~JILL~
All our kids are grown and gone with families of their own. If they want lights and trees they can do it at their house and we will visit them. No mess no fuss SOOOOOOOOO Much easier!!

My neighbor goes all out with his light setup. And this idea would work perfectly for me.
desertskyz
I have lights around my house, in my palm tree, and around my garage door. also have the tree up with lights (no decorations) and a couple of decoration in the house. I used to go all out with little villages, candles, pillows, towels. etc. Screw it now. I've got a 70 to rebuild.

Kitcat
Our neighbors around the corner put red lightbulbs in their garage lights. Now their house looks like a cat house. Or maybe it is a cat house!!! I have a cat house, but it's really just a house with 5 cats in it! Edited December 17, 2009 by Kitcat
Kitcat
We used to get a real Christmas tree until we got Monkey (our dog) and he peed on it (and the presents below). What fun that was to discover, while passing out gifts on Christmas!
