(white suzuki 250, also 80 and 50 for the 3 daughters)rollin out to the D this weekend and hopin you guys can help make it a great weekend for us/her....if a trip to the dunes with 4 girls in one motorhome doesn't kill a relationship it can survive anything. anywho.....if you see the ghetto (you'll hear me coming before you see me)purple subaru sandrail stuck out there i would appreciate a tow to get it pointed downhill again(remember, i aint had no clutch in over a year now) and a little restraint if i get too close to yuh while duning. should be camped on the left right across from the ranger station near b/r 12.....so come by and say hi. ...if yer hungry i will feed you a burrito.....i've helped a lot of you out there, now it's time for payback. thanks. randyvw Posted December 28, 2009 Author Share Posted December 28, 2009 the bigger question is why would you run a sand rail for over a year WITHOUT A CLUTCH???? because i CAN.....clutches are highly over-rated......and because i've had a very busy year and didn't want to dissassemble the whole dam car to do a trans and clutch when i was makin' money on fixin' other peeps cars. had a great weekend out there....only got stuck 1.7 times, about average for me for a two day trip. my girlfriend is still talking to me today so it musta been a good trip for her too ....much appreciation to the three guys that gave a push to get me going again when i missed a gear on a slow flat stretch(sorry, don't remember the screen name).....coulda been ugly walkin' a new girl back to camp to get help.... the sand was awesome with no wind while we were there at all(a little cold).....although there were a few witches eyes. i expected to see a LOT more peeps there . was hoping to get a bonzai run in with some ballers, but maybe next time. saw the ambulance once, but never heard what happened.....anywayz, we will be back out soon and i will be showin' her off at the dumont dune riders camp(i know, i know.....there's not ONE dumont dune riders camp). thanks for the help and thanks to the peeps that stopped by to make her feel welcome. Does she have a friend or sister that doesn't mind an old fart???? Who need a rail that runs right all the time. Mine hasn't run a whole weekend without a problem yet!!!!! What happens in camp is more important that a rail that runs problem free!!! I'm sure my wife won't mind.......
