Billsinca Posted January 7, 2010 Share Posted January 7, 2010 I have a 2001 tahoe 33TB 5th wheel and puled the cable out of the box on the tongue that ties in the brakes, power etc from the truck to the trailer. any help with which wires go where? seems there are more wires on the harness/truck side then inside the box going to the trailer. andydew Posted January 8, 2010 Share Posted January 8, 2010 That schematic should help. Hard to accurately diagnose without seeing it. One idea I had could be the white ground wire could've attached to the trailer chassis right at the hitch, not being plumbed beyond the box. Also, Your trailer may not be wired with an aux. circuit. Where is the tear; middle of cable(Shear) , or did it pull cable out of connector? Maybe identify how many/ color of wires on trailer side to help diagnose what you're up against.
