barneycar Posted January 12, 2010 Share Posted January 12, 2010 I have a 06 wr250f and i want to up the compression to 14:1. will it last if i do this ? other mods are stage 2 cams, porting and the carb has been rejeted also have a 10 map ignition system. MAke sure to take a look at other parts of the bike like the gaskets and all to make it fail safe. may want to look at the crank also to make sure it can handle the higher compression and also getting it balanced.
