It was an awesome experience to walk pit road and go to the garage and meet and greet with Tony.. not to mention the ENDLESS barrel of BEER!!!!!!!! I call it an experience because I have been to several NASCAR races, but never had the opportunity to do all of the extras.. a complete day full of new things. It started at 7:00am with full breakfast and wine.. guide tour of the pits, garage areas, and motorcoaches.. back to the hospitality area for a meet and greet and Q and A with Tony Stewart.. who walked in and the first thing he asked is who let Jackie (dunesmurf) in with her Jimmy Johnson jacket! then it was off for shopping.. which included an hour wait just to get a Danica shirt and hat! Then back to the tent for full lunch.. including an endless barrel of beers This year I wasn't driving, so I got to enjoy letting the hair down a little, which I don't do very often any more! Off to some great race seats.. they even hooked us up with the "FanView" scanners that you can listen to your favorite driver and watch on a little screen what is going on in the car.. or the televised version.. or many other ways to watch and listen.. needless to say it was an incredible day with great company!
