Help with a 98 GMC Sierra

We have a 1998 Sierra with 5.7 motor. He said it stumbled a little the other day, then the CEL came on. He revved it to clean it out and the light went out and it ran fine the rest of the day. Checked the code and it said throttle position sensor. But now we are looking for detailed instructions on how to change this. Any suggestions for website or firsthand instructions from any of you Chevy geniuses on here :banghead:

I doubt the TPS could be effected by K&N oil. The sensor mounts internally to the throttle body and moves off the butterflys movements. The mass air flow sensor can be easily contaminated by that oil. My 94 Cobra had that exact problem. It ran ok then on full throttle it would fall on its nose hard. We cleaned the wires on the MAF and it came back to life.

The TPS is changed easily. Hopefully it doesn't have the tamper resistent hex screws on it. If not then its a simple 5 minute job.
