DunaticSuzyQ
Has anyone transported their 4 stroke ATV on its rear end? We transport our 2 strokes, but wasn't sure if it's ok for the 4 strokes too (specifically a YFZ450). Thanks for any insights! See you at the dunes
Jakster884
I have transported ltr 450 on its rear many times without problems. Should be good to go.

mineurbiz
Some motors like the Raptor 700 you are not supposed to, due to engine design, but I have seen them transported that way without issues.
Foxysandchick
We transport the YFZ upright by turning off the gas and running it till the carb goes dry, haven't had any issues. If you have a full tank of gas it may leak out of the gas cap vent. edit...If you have the fuel injected YFZ then just stand it up. mineurbiz
Just keep in mind, that it is possible for oil to get past the rings and into the cylinder, so when you get to your destination, let it sit for a few minutes before starting it.
