bp-guy
I guess I will break the ice and begin the report. Met up with Not-so-Barefoot-Bob at Baker and we drove in to Dumont to scout out our camp on Wednesday afternoon. Sand seemed real soft where we met up with Ryan that had a spot already picked out for us. I proceeded to get stuck (not bad) dropped trailer and got out of there with the help of Ryan. Next up Bob, got stuck just like me and once again Ryan to the rescue to pull out the trailer. Got all set up and just relaxed the first night there. Weather was a bit cold for shorts and t-shirt but I tried and failed and went into wearing pants and a jacket. Thanksgiving morning the rest of the group was there, Dave and Tina w/family and Faster Daddy (James and wife Kelly and family) Another family was also there when we got there but I can't seem to remember their names but they were good people none the less. Unloaded my rail and fired it up, I thought I had a coolant leak but soon discovered it was a fuel leak. Bought some fuel line and with some afro-engineering Dave and me got it taken care of and had the rail back up and running. Had some other minor things going wrong with the rails in camp but none were bad enough to keep the rails down for the weekend. Did a few real good runs over the 4 days I stayed there. Brought the Go-Pro and I messed up and had it taking sequencial pictures instead of video on 2 rides. So I have no video of anything. Hopefully Dave had his working right. We even got Jim (Sand-Snake) to migrate over to our camp and set up with us. Got in some good rides with him and Bert. Bert's car came out NICE. It was fun running behind him. The Thanksgiving Meal was AWSOME!!! 3 deepfried turkeys and all the fixings to go along. Dave even deepfried a Tri-tip. We all at so much that it hurt. All in all it was a great trip. Decided to leave Saturday and avoid the holiday traffic but ended up sitting it traffic for 7 hours till we got home back in San Diego. Thanks to all in our camp. Aside from the cold azz weather keeping me from the fire late at night it couldn't have been any better. I got a few good pictures at Talladega and that was about it. I wanted to ride more than take pictures. Met FE135 at the North Pole and he had his camera so hope fully he will post up some of his awesome shots. Here are the shots--

Randog
Great pics and videos mANgs...Thanks for sharing. Here's a pic I got that kinda helps tell part of my story. Broke an axle on our first ride of our trip on T-day. I just wanted to do my favorite wheelie across the left side of comp and... WTF?... Ohhh SNAP! I'm not at all upset with the car, Yesterday was the first time I actually had to push my car into the garage in the 6 years I've had it. Thanks for offering the spare axle Timmy. I chose to just get the right length in there here at home. I really appreciate it though brO. Good thing I brought the qWad. Didn't realize how much I missed that sucker till I shot up the first dune on it. Our camp cooked three turkeys in the sand. We had two hams and much much more. Killer eats I tell ya. We all eat way too much but apparently left plenty of room for beverages. lol Some rippin' dune runs lead by LouB, Donnkey, BaBert... Can't remember who else had lead any. As most of you know Pete didn't make it out this year for T-day to lead any rides. Why-I-aughta ... lol. Ryder had a blast as usual. He's gettin to be a local out there at 16months old. :headbang1: Yiah Yiah! Whit got some pics I'll try to get posted up later. Good seein' some DDR peeps again. Thanks everyone for a great weekend. :fo_shizzle: R-

sand chick
I had an AWESOME unexpected, last second weekend trip, went to work on Friday morning (Mike and boys already left at 1/2 hour before daybreak) clocked in and was sent home for the weekend! Ran home picked up pooches, Michael no where to be found, but I got him a ride later. Was unable to put my quad in the truck, Mike had the ramps. Oh well, better to be in dumont with nothing, then be at home! But Mike turned the Rzr over to me when I got there again! I hate to admit it almost, but what a freaking blast!!!! Thank you again Mike for letting me play Had a great family trip! Great rides, friends and Saturdays horrendous wind storm, made for sweet azz dunes on Sunday, stayed late, didn't want to leave. Spend Friday afternoon with the littens taking the riding course, GREAT job! CaptNkllm
AHhhhh forgot about the ridding course for the kids.... wonder what the guy would have thought if I sent my girl with the Raptor lol... He would have been like what the hell lol.. Awesome weekend.. Thanks again Neal for taking some pics.. cant wait to see them and it was real nice meeting you and was glad you were able to get a few rides in with us. Wind was bad Sat but it worked out real good by morning.. Plenty of food and not enough fire pit conversation. Wish it wasnt so cold at night but ... all that playing during the day wore me out... I took some GoPro vids .. will be sending them to Tim to put with his... Hopefully we get 1 great video. Like posted by Bob .. No major events in our camp and No major events for the BLM.. I think that is AWESOME!!!.. Thanks to Rob (80Grit) for fixing my radio.. clear as a bell now.. Thanks again Buddy.. Capt
