We just got a $12k bill in the mail from the FD; took them 2 months. I'll pray it doesn't happen to you. Get lots of photos, and don't be afraid to fight a lil' with your ins. agent for structure, content, cleanup, and possibly living exp. if you need a hotel or something. sand chick Posted May 1, 2012 Share Posted May 1, 2012 This past Saturday I had the opportunity to use some real horsepower!!! I couldn't have picked a better day to spend up in the mountanis trail riding horse back. The staff at Mt Charleston Trail Rides were friendly and awesome! And the horses are well taken care of. I arrived about 30 mins early and chatted and helped out getting ready for the ride. They put me on one of the "wranglers" horses due to my experience and invited me back to exchange help for rides anythime I wanted. I loved meadering through the peacefulness of the mountains. sand chick Posted June 24, 2012 Share Posted June 24, 2012 Hard to believe that this is so close to Vegas! 15 mins my front door to trail head.. ended my hike at 1:00 in the afternoon and it was 76 degrees.. 15 mins later in the driveway of the house 96 degrees..
