ynot
Yesterday while fighting the shifting mechanism on my new Rzr S after installing a UMP air filter I found that the shift lever would not go past neutral. After a lot of cussing and going to Lowe's for some thinner headed bolts it still wasn't working. So I decided to try to tweak the lever itself. It snapped like crystal as soon as I put a little pressure on it. Now normally this wouldn't be a big deal but we are leaving for the ca. UTV jamboree in Coleville Ca. So after trying to get a part (Like Ride now would have anything in stock) I made a cpl calls this morning and Rhino King "loaned " me the shifter shaft and Craig gave me some tech help. After trying several different ways to mount this b*tch so it would work i finally drilled a new hole about 1/2 " away from the pre drilled set up, stuck a new bolt and lock nut on it and Walla we are in gear! Again my many thanks to the folks who were there for me and offered parts and assistance and to Pete for having lots of phone numbers. DDR Rocks!! :cocktail: Terry
