dunefreak
As I get ready for the season I am stocking up on all the necessary items to keep in my car for dune runs. Since I bought my Tech 3, I have always just used a backpack to bring along the usual recovery strap, tools, zip ties, etc. I came across some cool frame mounted storage bags for sunglasses, recovery strap, etc...http://www.pacificcu...ow=&range_high= Then I am going to load some tools up in one of these. i have plenty of places to mount one. http://www.pacificcu...ow=&range_high= I am just curious how everyone else stores their tools, straps, etc in their cars. If you have some links, pics, or part numbers for storage bags/ boxes. containers...please post them up!
Randog
I've always used a Camera Lens Wrap. You can just throw your tools in it and wrap them tight. It keeps them from rattling around. Also laying the wrap out on the sand helps keep the sand out of the tools. Here's an Ebay link on one that I just looked up: Camera lens wrap Click it and check it! ynot
I have a bin behind my seat that apparently could be used for an ice chest but I keep my strap, and a tool pack that I had purchesed when I was riding harley's that is meant to store in a bagger. It rolls up and has most everything in it. I keep a pr. of glasses so I can see what I am screwing up, a few rags and zip ties and of course some duct tape. Vegas FX400
I think used Ammo cans would make for great tool containers. Durable, water proof, and come in many sizes....Just my two cents
Noozeyeguy
I use my friend's buggies... I keep a strap, flashlight, and a few odd & ends in the wing trunk. I'd like to bolt-in an ammo can somewhere, someday.
sandawg
Attached to floor and padded to eliminate rattleing!
bp-guy
I have the same thing as Jim. Just not a Funco bag. Bolted right to the floor. I don't put anything big and heavy in the wing that can damage that, I keep the tow strap in there.

Also keep a back pack up front and still have the wing for empties. You can never have to much storage. The drink holders on those bags work well. Just dont keep it cold.
