iweb
I am looking at a 40' late 70's Eagel bus that has been converted to a motor home. Anyone know values of these things or where to find out? They say its worth $100K but without having a blue book who knows? Also what is the max length for MOHO and trailer: 65'? Does it take a special endorsement on drivers lic for something that heavy and long? This is a real estate trade deal and I would probably just resell the coach so I don't want to get stuck with something that is way over priced or that no one wants. Thanks. sanddunesaddict
70' in nevada and 65' in cali. If the trailer is over 10k then you need an endorsement. The bus doesnt require anything because its recreational. And supposibly whatever you are towing is ok too because its a rec vehicle. I dont know about NV, but in CA you would need a class B. Its required if the coach is over 40 feet.
Don29palms
I would say unless you really know the maket for something like that, let him take on the hassles of selling the motorhome and give you cash. If there is a market, he should have no problems selling it but there might be a reason he hasn't sold it already.
