Adam @ GTP Off Road
that looks about how it was when Mike and I went for a day trip last month... the whole right side was/ is pretty ugly so definitely be careful. When we were riding there was even a ridge across Comp about 3/4 of the way up. only about 6 inchs, but it was weird.
ynot
The dunes are soft, and have deep holes where there were none before. The razor's are sharp and some have the bumpy ridges along the top. As usual take it easy till you've scouted your high speed run out and remember that it is a holiday weekend and since it's the official start of the season people are all full of the new stuff they bought or improvements they made and the adrenaline is a little off the scale. For your own safety keep an eye out for the "crazies" and don't be one of them. Unfortunately bad things happen and I don't want any bags coming out of the dunes. Which BTW there is a ton of garbage on the flats and in the dunes, so if you take a break while out in the dunes pick up anything that may be out there that's not supposed to be there. That goes for the flats also, please haul out more than you take in! Be safe and have a great weekend! Terry
