Dan Agnew
The lost dog has a new home! We want to know what you name her and if you are going to have her at Dumont over New Years so we can come visit her! Michelle and I have both been talking all evening about how sad we were to see her go, but how happy we are that she is in a good family that will give her the love and attention that she desirves. 2 Quote Link to comment

Dan Agnew
Desert SKYZ took her 1 Quote Link to comment
aceisback
Good deal SKYZ, you sound like a great mom and the perfect new owner for such an animal. My question is how you lose a dog of this size and not notice her missing, and then just leave the dunes without her??? And if dumped how do you live with yourself knowing you abandoned such a beautiful creature? Googled this breed and I would assume that they are not cheap to buy or own. But if you can afford to dune you can afford to feed a dog. Good looking out by the duning community. DDR rocks Quote Link to comment
desertskyz
I have been blessed. She is the exact same color as my big Male Malinios (Storm) I lost in March. I almost cried when I saw her, cause I knew it was ment to be. She looks a little like a deer, ok alot. LOL I'm in love already. I named her Desertskyz Sunshine. I call her Shine or Shy. she is both. I really didn't name her I had 5 little visitors last night and we took a vote Sunshine won out over Ruby and Sandy. It appeares she knows zero commands at all, or just does not speak english. I am going to test her tonight in Spanish. She is a Velcro dog. Loves kids, hates grass and so far has not made a sound, but to whimmper a little when she wants something. Hide and seek is a blast. She won't be going anywhere until and get her to the vet and get some training in her. Of all the Mal's I have had and trained with, she is by far the sweetest of them all. Thank you Dan and your lovely wife for enriching my life. God Bless you both for saving her. Edited November 8, 2012 by desertskyz 4 Quote Link to comment

desertskyz
UP DATE: This is dog pysco. Came home for lunch and found about 400 dollars in damage. Broke out my garden window in my kitchen and got out (with so much as a scratch) torn up a 100.00 set of wood blinds and .............well lets just say it looks like a bomb went off in my house. And a half day lost of work. sh*t. I hate you Dan. LOL LOL LOL Just kidding. These things happen. She is scared, lost and confused. I'm smiling........really see my teeth. So it's off to the vet we go for meds, lots and lots of meds. Then to pets mart for a prison cell. Pic's to come later. Wonder if my House Insurance will cover any of this. Quote Link to comment
Dan Agnew
Don't use your home owners for that amount of damage. Insurance companies black list you for claims, so if you don't have a MAJOR claim (as in thousands) don't make a claim (I learned this from a friend who learned the hard way). On day one at our house she got the blinds, on day two she broke out of a PetSmart cage but ended up locking herself in the garage after she figured out the lever type door knob, on day three we put her in the garage. Other than teeth marks on the door knob inside the garage, she did good. If you are right with her, she is good as gold, but when she is alone, she gets into mischief. desertskyz
What is a thunder shirt? Do they make those in human XL size ? Lol It's a tight fitting vest thing that makes you calm and safe. Kinda of like the White jackets they give you just before that put in that rubber room. Only its for dogs. Quote Link to comment

desertskyz
Update: Thank you Dan for bringing this Mal into my life. After her redecorating event, she has been an angle. She is way younger the thought. She was about 1 year when you brought her to me. She is learning how to play, loves kids, cats (scary, scary cats), dogs. Very shy around men. Always comes when she is called, never leaves the yard. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her. She is such a clown and still does the snap, snap of her teeth when she is happy or being silly. Thanks you so much. DDR Peeps Rock. Hands down. Quote Link to comment
ngoodey
My question is why didnt Dan tell you about what she did to his place before you adopted her? Quote Link to comment
