sandawg Posted October 19, 2013 Share Posted October 19, 2013 I too am thankful that the guy was arrested. It isn't right that someone is able to live their life without being accountable. It was unfortunate that the accident happened but he needs to be held accountable for his actions. Not to take away from this tragic event but my wife's nephew was killed right outside of the Merced/Atwater area by a drunk driver that was going the wrong way on Hiway 99 after a stint at a bar in the area. She was convicted and will spend 10 years in jail. He was in the navy and was going to Sacramento from San Diego to visit his dad for the holidays. Both sad events caused by bad decisions.
