sandawg Posted July 16, 2013 Share Posted July 16, 2013 A guy pulls into the campground last evening with a nice expensive motorhome with an expensive tilting heavy duty aluminum trailer with a really nice long travel rail on it. I get up this morning and heard that he went to the campground manager and complained that the camp next to him had the nerve to have a campfire in their space. We do furnish burn barrels for camp fires. This guy,wearing a Glamis Tee shirt when he came in last night, said he couldn't leave his windows open because of the campfire. Is it just me or do some people have more money than brains, call themselves a duner, yet complains because someone lights a campfire when they are camping? I don't get it! As to your comment......LMFAO! My neck is a lighter shade of "Red" now. I guess the guy did ask if there was going to be anyone parked next to them for the next day or so. aceisback Posted July 20, 2013 Share Posted July 20, 2013 Sounds like those people who camp over on Gecko Rd at Glamis. Always out raking and sweeping the sand in their camps. Bunch of uppity snooty fuggers who can't hang with the real duners over on Wash Rd. I watched a gal in camp one year vacuum her camper about three or four times a day. Never could make it out to visit us around the campfire. To each their own but I'll clean out the hauler when I get to the house. Let's RIDE.
