fishlips Posted December 20, 2013 Share Posted December 20, 2013 I used an epoxy with a piece of glass cloth that came with the kit. It worked for two weeks then seperated from the plastic tank. vegas style Posted December 20, 2013 Share Posted December 20, 2013 my fix is going to be a new tank (or a new hauler) for the season I'm using a couple 55 gallon plastic barrels. i had some luck with a roofing patch ETERNABOND very sticky with a chemical reaction when worked. worked pretty good but still had a drip. FE135 Posted December 20, 2013 Share Posted December 20, 2013 Go to an RV store. They make stuff just for this task. You mix like epoxy and use it as a putty till it hardens. The hole is at half full so if it drips i will catch it with a bucket and pour it back in. after i use 1/2 of the water no more leak. pulling ot the tanks is easy it only took me 20 min. by myself.
