Bigrzrfan Posted November 1, 2014 Share Posted November 1, 2014 So I came out to Dumont with no generator because I talked to a guy on craigslist and he was going to meet me here so I can buy one. Well long story short I'm an idiot and I trusted him. Now he's a no-show and I have no generator and to It all off I guess my batteries are shot from sitting all year. I need help. I need to either buy or borrow a generator to use this weekend otherwise we are just going to go home in the morning before all our food spoils. Can anyone help. If you don't like them return them when you get home. There is an ice vender out there, Go buy some ice. Improvise, overcome, adapt!!! Go ride have fun.... I went to Pahrump this morning at 6:30 and got a couple deep cycle 6V batts and the guy with the generator came thru. We are livin large now. It's easy to get bummed out when things aren't going right, but in the end duners do what it takes to make the trips happen. Glad you got it all sorted out. Last trip for us seemed like everything was going wrong and it was an omen to stay home, but after pouting about it for an hour I got over it and we made it happen.
