Svengoolie
Fuel station fuel pump crapped out. What can I do with no time to internet order? Can an automotive fuel pump be substituted? Any ideas? Thanks.
mineurbiz
What is it doing? Did you check the fuses? Sometimes the gears will swell and when you go to pump the gas, the motor binds and will blow the fuse or just not turn. If the fuses are good for the fuel station, try cracking the 4 bolts to the fuel station cover and see if it will turn. If it does work with the cover lose, you can file down the gears to get them to work again, by sanding each flat side and both sides of each tooth to both gears. Svengoolie
Great suggestions, did that already. It's just worn. Pump motor fires up, just not enough to lift fuel anymore. Time to replace.
mush
I used a holly auto pump last year when mine did that. It's still working but pumps slower than the OG.
