crawlinxj Posted October 23, 2006 Share Posted October 23, 2006 ok so i got my nephews banshee up and running yesterday but now the clutch is slipping i got it all apart and ordered up the parts today for it. my guestion is on the basket there is a 12mm nut with a phillips head stud? im guessing its for adjustment. but how do i adjust it? im not familer with the banshee's at all thanks jeff Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

superdave Posted October 27, 2006 Share Posted October 27, 2006 to be more specific, hold the clutch lever on the trans toward the front of the motor and hold there. loosen the 12 mm nut on the clutch and turn the center adjuster whichever way to align the mark on the lever to the mark on the trans case. you really shouldnt have to mess with this if all your doing is replacing the clutch and someone hasnt jacked with it already. you should be able to adjust it at the cable adjuster at the handle bar lever. about a half inch of free play at the end of the lever. good luck.
