Dirtrider67
Hi, we are thinking about going to Dumont for the first time April 4-7 and would appreciate any advice. We usually go to Glamis once a year but might go to Dumont. We have quads and rzr 900 all with paddles. Where would the best place to camp be? We have a toy hauler. Will it be to hot beings it will be close to 90? Thanks for any and all advice.
sand chick
The camp area is one big open area. It's not like Glamis with the pads and washes. The main thing to be aware of are the razors, shelves and witches eyes. The dunes have been different each time I was there this season. We have two destinations North Pole and South Pole... Neither of which are North or South... LOL! Be safe and have fun! Lot's of water and chill in the creek with an easy up and a cooler when it's too hot to ride...
dunefreak
Welcome to DDR. It'll be warm, but not too hot in my opinion. The place should be empty. Enjoy! Here's a map of the camp area. If you have Verizon, there's good signal down my bathroom 3. More map stuff here, http://www.dumontduneriders.com/maps/
