He has apparently never been to the dunes before and got his vehicle stuck. He's wondering if anyone is able to lend him a hand. My thoughts are that the transmission thinks it’s in another gear that’s not allowing it to turn the engine on, which is making it difficult to tow out / pull. If there is a mechanic that knows how to bypass the Shift Interlock System or just manually get the car into Neutral / Drive (i think it thinks it’s in Reverse or Some Drive gear) we can get the engine on and move this baby back to the road - best case scenario- drive it back home. Thanks again to everyone who has made this experience sweet. If anyone is available over the weekend to come join in this tow party - DM me gonna try and drive out tomorrow and Sunday. Thanks to everyone that was involved in this rescue and all the people that checked on me everyday to make sure I was ok. I’m excited to be apart of this community and more importantly - to be reminded how gracious people can be - want to be - are. How I am reminded that when you’re up to your neck don’t quit and - SCREAM FOR HELP. And when you’re tired - rest - and try and try again. May or may not help, but worth a try.
